i was just wondering where any of you fine folk have seen hr stuff in your dialy lives!!

i work at trader joe's (a hippie grocery store---er, um, natural foods store) here in portland.
at each store, employees with good enough drawing/writing skills and/or interest, take turns making signs around the store.
one employee at our store, travis, is really good and makes most our signs
(and he's been working here awhile, so he's only gotten better).
anywho,
when making a big, chalk sign for the lowcarb section,
he asked me for ideas...
being that we're both hr fans, i brought up the the recent (at the time) release of peasant quest
and told him to make carbdor burninating carb-filled foods.
i was just joking, but he liked the idea.
a few days later, there was (and currently still is)
a huge, chalk sign made by travis, featuring "carbdor" burninating some bread, pasta, etc. hanging up in tj's.
i swear i'll get a picture of it soon and post it asap.

also, last week at my work i saw
a regular's 13-yr-old son was wearing a black trogdor t-shirt
and thought i was super cool when i complimented him on it and pointed out our carbdor sign to him.

hr, uniting stranger separated by...
um...a generation and...
um...nnot knowing each other.

Well, I haven't really seen many things hr related in my life, but I do constantly hear Strong Bad quotes on K-Rock. I have seen though all the main characters drawn on a desk at school once.

You do know that the term "double deuce" didn't originate with H*R, right? It's still funny, but, er..

They did. It's been discontinued.

Not much. I saw a girl in my school wearing a Teen Girl Squad shirt once, and I saw a guy wearing a The Cheat shirt at the mall once.

I've seen people wearing/with Homestar merchandise. Thus far, I've seen people wearing:

A full-body Homestar shirt
A The Cheat shirt (which would be my roommate)
A The Cheat tote bag

I think I might've had more sightings, but I can't remember.

I'm sure I've given people sightings, though, what with my Homestar Star shirt and my Teen Girl Squad shirt. (And yes, I'm male.)

Once on a flight from SLC to St. Louis for a job interview, I was seated next to a girl with a H*R t-shirt and totebag, and the newspaper at my university ran a survey about how often each student visited homestar runner.

Use Imageshack for image uploading. (which would be for the best in this instance, since your images are broken)

I was going home late on a weekend night, and I remember feeling tired and down. But then I spotted a guy on the subway with the homestar running shoulder bag! And that lifted up my spirits.

[[Aww, great story, soce!]]

I saw a girl im my class with a H*R sweater on. It was red and had a white star in the middle, so I think it was Homestar.

I saw a boy in my school wearing a Strong Bad T-shirt and a girl wearing the Relient-K T-shirt with the Homestar Runner logo, although I doubt she even knows what Homestar Runner is.

That's about it, really. Fascinating, I know.

I know I'm breaking the cardinal rule of not dragging up an old thread, but I couldn't figure out where else to put this (after searching for an hour). I agree with a lot of people that lolDogs aren't as funny as lolCats, but check this pic out:

Image

See what's on the TV in the background? You know what this means?

HOMESTAR RUNNER MAKS U NIGLECT YOR PETZ!

I thought it was cool anyway.

Now, please commence with the "OMG WE'VE ALREADY SEEN DIS" posts. I looked around, and didn't find it, but I'm sure someone's beat me to this! :sb:

everything reminds me of homestar. especially in my school, in a couple of my classrooms have teachers who are MEGA fans of homestar and i once said to one of the wellness (thats gym and heatlh combined in one class) teachers. "hey you like homestar" and he goes "yeah i love it" and we just ket going on and on and ooooooooooonnnnnn saying our favorite quotes. Even doing our impressions and even acting out the interview episode. He was really impressed with my homestar and the cheat impressions. But the akward part was, it was *laughs* DURING SESSION. then some guy who i will not say the name. Says "what are you guys talking about?" we just shrugged him off. But yeah, i might wanna pay him a visit somtime again.....he's only like 4 classrooms down now since im currently in semester 2 and classes got switched. As for the other teachers, they wern't as into homestar as he was......strange....his name was so hard to pronounce i forgot it already. I'll post him name when i do some research lol.

You probably shouldn't post other people's names online.

Anyway, I got a... teacher's assistant, maybe? The person who was helping me with organisation and essays and stuff because I'm really bad at those due to my disability. I got her into Homestar Runner. Her and her son and her daughter. When I graduated, she bought me a Kick the Cheat doll and a 10 Years T-shirt as a graduation gift. I really appreciated that.

Recently on a car trip, we apparently passed a van covered in Homestar Runner stuff. But I didn't see it because I was too busy looking out the other window.

You're not a troll unless you're specifically posting to get a negative reaction. That word is misused far too often.
