Probably cuz they took it from the Strong Bad. That's the only explanation for that. And at the bottom they have a link to another place that has the batteries being eaten as "proof" it didn't come from the sbemail, but it's more likely that guy took it from TBC too.

Yeah, that definately looks like a Strong Bad rip-off. If the guy doesn't believe us, we should send him an e-mail with the link to english paper.

I'm fairly certain "Consumating" is a word made up by TBC, even more proof this is a ripoff.

Wiktionary wrote:
consummate (adj.)
(RP): /ˈkɒnsjʊmət/ or /kənˈsʌmɪt/; (US): /ˈkɑnsəmət/ or /kənˈsʌmɪt/
1. Complete, perfect, absolute.
Always the consummate gentleman, he always knows how to treat a woman.

Synonyms
* (complete): absolute, complete, perfect, sheer, total, utter
(There's also a verb meaning that's more common, but I trimmed that out for space.)
The "consummate V's" in dragon are thus "perfect" V's.

There's no evidence that Consumating [sic] ripped the pictures of TBC any more than there is that TBC ripped it off Consumating. Or that they both copied it from a third party. I'd like to believe that TBC invented the drawings, but we don't know for certain.

The editor of Engrish.com isn't saying that it definitely comes from Consumating, rather that it could have come from either... same style as the "TTATOT" rule that the wiki uses in STUFF.

I'd like to meet the man/woman that can fit 5 batteries in his/her mouth.

Also, it's not necessarily very, uh, forum friendly. :P

okay, but "consumating" is still not a word. they left out one "M"

And since there is no other graphic that TBC have "ripped off" I would say that they originally drew that picture.

I think that this consumant thing is some kind of community thing.
This guy appears to have made that image as a joke of some kind. A referance, not a rip off.

No clue about that engrish though.

There is no way that that is not a rip off.
