Being away from home this year I went to a coworker's house for thanksgiving.

They all started the tradition of going around the table and saying what they're thankful for. When it came to be my turn I said:

"Claude Monet and Manchester United"

I've never seen a bigger group of confused people in my life. There were about a half dozen people there my age, I thought the chances would be pretty good that one of them would know what I was talking about! But no dice.

Anyways, anyone else try the same thing?

I didn't do exactly that because we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but I did something similar recently.

I'm graduating from year 12 soon. In maths last week we had to talk about what we were doing next year. I said I was going to CGNU. I don't think anyone got that either.
