Why is there a fanstuffs forum and a main Wiki forum? Is fanstuffs forum a separatist movement? I would like some background on it if anyone knows any. Yes I like long stories so type away.

It's the unofficial forum for the H*R Fanstuff Wiki. If we posted all the stuff here, newbies would be going "WHERE IS THIS ON H*R.COM?!?? OMG?!??!" Plus it'd get really cluttered.

Newbies are people with good grammar that are new. What you are talking about are n00bs.It's under Grammar IV in the Hrwiki Bible. I just had to correct you.

But yeah thanks. Though I would like to know some of your experiences there, what it's like, what truly is the Fanstuffs. I don't mean the technical meaning, I mean community and what it is compared to this forum-ness.

Fanstuffs isn't a discussion kind of place. There, you write stuff, animate stuff, and hopefully don't get on my nerves. :p

The big contender there is "OCE", or "Other Character Email", started by our very own Lunar Jesty. In it, you control another character answering an email. Has to be good, though. Need to pass a tryout to see if you obey rules.

I've owned two - my second one is currently filled with made-up characters and established characters, which is reccomended.

i encourage you to check it out sometime, read OCE Tampo, maybe Homsar's Blog, as they are both awesome.

I think he's asking why there is both an HRWiki forum and an HRWiki Fanstuff Forum

Oh, the forum.

Fanstuff forum isn't anything like here. n00bs run rampant occassionally, and there's not enough discussion.

no, a newbie is someone who is genuinely new. they should be nurtured and cared for. a n00b is a person that has been playing for some time, and still has no idea how it works. it has proven that these people will never get laid (lol, CAD).

i've been aware of the fanstuff wiki's presence, but i've never been there. well, i mean, i've been to people's links, but i've never been to the front entrance and had a good look around.

I don't visit the fanstuff wiki very often either. I once took a look at the fanfiction section. It would appear to be full of n00bs who don't understand the value of revising a story, or even spell checking it. That, or the fics I read weren't representive of the fanfiction on the fanstuff wiki as a whole. The Other Character Emails don't seem to have that problem so much.

Today I read all the Tampo emails. They were pretty entertaining, if a bit confusing with all the injokes and crossovers.

I'm a regular there, and helped to fend of Rahran from the Fanstuff Forums.

Annoying people are at the forums, but if you can get past 'em, you'd find it to be not so bad after all.
