http://web.archive.org/web/200308060604 ... unner.net/ it is very sad that one of our 'brothers' has been down for that long. i think it was very nice to be able to see what the hell was actually at homestarrunner.net. just imagine if that happened to h*r.com or even hrwiki.org, i think several of us might even cry. i know i would. i hope they do come back up. if we were a big organisation with big wads of money sticking out of our back pockets, we'd probably help them. it is an amazing for someone to take money from their own wallet to start any fan-related website. someone somewhere would have to have pulled money from their bank account, to buy the wiki program/code, a domain and the webhosting cost. luckily most of that is comsumed by donations. oh yeah. Donate! http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/HRWiki:Donations I know I will, once I get permission. Regards, Jack[/url] |

Actually, HRWiki and JoeyDay are in possession of the homerstarrunner.net domain name. It was given to Joey around last October, I believe. There was a big discussion as to what to do with it, but I'm not sure if it's actually progressed since then. |

hmmmm.... i reckon that it would be better for the H*R wiki to actually move to homestarrunner.net. thats if JoeyDay does own it. but then again...more hits...more donations...and we go down the path of homestarrunner.net (deceased) |

There's some information (and a link to a homestarrunner.net preview of Drupal) at #hrnet. The preview is cool, but there isn't much done - it's still just plain blue. |

From what I understand, it's going to be a kind of Homestar Runner community portal, with links and such to different H*R fansites. |

Why did it die? Sounds like a great idea to me... Yeah, I used to go there. At the time, it was the largest fan forum. It was a nice forum, but it wasnt as good as the wiki forum. I only went to the HR net ofrums every now and then, but there was nothing memorable. |

Wow, just had a look at beta.homestarrunner.net and it is still under construction. Maybe thats why JoeyDay has been away for a while. Anyway...I hope JoeyDay can keep it up "literally" We probably should run a donations drive to secure homestarrunner.net. JoeyDay's handling 2 domains now. Or More. Thats lots of coffee. beta.homestarrunner.net - The HomestarRunner NetWork. History devil.of.firewalls Member for : 48 Secs We should make a "Congratulate and/or Give all the admins a cookie" Thread. Regards, Jack |

I honestly thought that the site would be completed by now, but i guess my perception was clouded by the dark side... of the schwartz. That guy probably got the upside, because there are 2 sides to every schwartz, but anyway *self toastpaints* I hope we an get the site back up soon. |

Well, making a good looking site does not happen over night. It takes a long while.
