Dude, CRAIG ZOBEL just posted on the forum, and you're going nuts because the forum's creator is here???
:D

EDIT: Okay, that Great World of Sound site is hilarious. I hope that means this thing will be too.

Okay, okay, okay, Unlike you guys, im not convinced that this guy is the Real Craig Zobel. Whats something that the can do that only the real Coach Zobel can confirm or do?

Qermaq said this on a talk page on the wiki.

Or send an email to Craig through a known contact address requesting verification so we can be sure it was really him (along with a congratulations on the film). This would be something best left to a bureaucrat or someone with a prior relationship with TBC, of course.

Also, check the official film site (The real one, not the Thoraxy one) and check the cast and crew page. Craig and Missy are right near the top of the list.

Seriously though, well done. I hope I get a chance to see it.

Congrats! I'm looking forward to seeing the film (a future DVD release, perhaps?).

Yes yes! We'd love to have a DVD. That way we could all enjoy the Sundancy goodness.

Here's a video of Craig telling a little bit about the video (I think it was uploaded by the people at the Sundance Film Festival).

When I first checked, it looked like tickets were sold out for the Salt Lake screening, but I think I've found a way to snag some tickets, so Stu and I are probably going to see the movie together tomorrow night.

Sundance does "day of show" tickets that aren't available until the morning before the screening, so I'm going to swing by the box office early tomorrow morning. If they're really sold out and I can't get tickets tomorrow morning, they also do a waiting line two hours before the screening. I have a friend who frequents Sundance and he says there's a pretty good chance we'll get in on the waiting line, so either way, I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing the show. Keep your fingers crossed for us. I'm excited!

Edit on 1/21/2007: I was able to secure two tickets this morning. Now I'm really excited. We're going to see the show for sure tonight.

An update for you guys. Went to the show last night and it was a ton of fun. The movie was great, although not really something I would recommend for the tiniest of babies. Afterwords we were able to chat for a few minutes with Craig and Missy (the Brothers were off doing their own thing :( )

I hope that we see more movies from Craig, and I especially hope that we see more of the Homestar gang in Utah :)

I'm pretty tired right now (didn't get home until nearly 1am) and I am stuck at work. I'll leave more updating to Joey. That is when he gets some free time.

That's a pretty pretty cool Stu and Joey, made even more cool by the fact that you got to speak to Craig and Missy. Too bad you didn't get to meet Matt and Mike, though. I'm sure they'd like to meet you guys as much as we'd all like to meet them.

I'm hoping this meeting will, eventually, produce pictures of the meeting (and a bootleg copy of the movie).
Well, OK. Maybe not the bootleg copy. Those are bad.

So is Missy as hot as she looks in pics as she was when you met her?

Well, yeah. It's Stu and Joey, you should be bowing to them no matter what. They're just that awesome.

An is it me, or is Craig really tall? He seems to tower over everyone else.

I think the more important question is: "Why is everyone else bundled up like it's a freaking ice age while Joey is standing there in a short sleeve polo?"

Is it an example of extremely localized global warming?

Also, I'm glad Stu liked the film.

If Craig (or anyone else that's at Sundance) reads this, is there much buzz for the film at the festival?

Craig had been outside for several minutes, but Stu, Missy, and I had just barely walked outside. Stu and Missy were smart and bundled up before leaving the building. I was purposely leaving my pullover off for the picture to show my Trogdor polo shirt. It was cold, so I put it on immediately after the photo.

Yeah, if anyone knows how to get red eye out using Fireworks (or something free), let me know. Thanks.

I'll take it out with Photoshop and email it to you, or something.

Yes.

And he must smell or something. I mean, Missy is leaning away from him. Maybe she's leaning towards Joey. Joey, she knows you're married, right? :-D

It was so cold (it was like 12:30 am at the time of that picture).

DOUBLE POSTED!

Yes, Craig is really freaking tall :) I am about 5' 11". Joey is a little shorter than me (I think). I am not sure if I can guess how tall either Missy or Craig were. But when I first stood next to him that was one of the things that went through my mind... wow, he's tall :)

Yeah, his hands look bigger than Joey's head. He looks like one of those guys you wouldn't want to mess with in a bar fight.

Oh, abd COLA, nice job on reducing the evil glare on Missy's eyes. How do you do that in Photoshop?

Its a little tool under the Patches tool menu. But you gotta get it right over the pupil, or the whole eye looks off and you could end up with one half of a pupil red, and the other blue.

Is it wrong to think Missy is hot?

Whats he gonna do? Make a character based on me and kill it in a thirty way death match style killing by Strong Mad...

That would actually be pretty awesome...Yet still scary...

Actually, he'd probably just use his arm cannon on you.

That thing's pretty dang lethal. I've seen him kill a man in Reno with that thing.
