Okay, so getting away from the code craziness for now, I (and hopefully others) eagerly await the fool's day prank. It should be happening soon, if I've got my zones straight.

EDIT: It should be midnight right now.

Gah. it's simply a page that says "The Homestar Runner Wiki has been shut down". It's quite annoying, actually, because I cannot even access anything.

Well, I was kinda talking about H*R, but this is a lame joke.

The HRWiki joke this year falls far short of last year's Wiki Tiki Tavi prank. That was great.

"O NOSE THE WIKI IS SUHT DOWN IT'S TOTALY REEL"

EDIT: Wow, that was a jerkwad thing to say.

I guess you didn't read the line that said:

When Rusty posted the link, there was no "INFO" under the message saying the Wiki was shut down.

Still a lame prank...

Oops, sorry COLA. They just added that line 20 minutes after you posted, eh?

Lame prank? What did you expect? After last year, you'd expect another big prank and wouldn't fall for it. We can't win either way, it seems.

You could have told us that our refrigerators were running.

I kinda like this one, but I can't explain why. Maybe it's because it ties into the Spring Pledge Drive. The TMBW joke it genius, though.

You know, I was wondering, "Where is the H*R April fools joke?"

Then I realized, it's already there. Us waiting for it is the joke.

Actually, if they're thinking what I'm thinking, this prank is quite brilliant.

Or I could be wrong. I dunno.

I really don't think that's it. I'm under the impression that they were just too busy to do a joke this year, or they're working on something else for tomorrow.

I really wish they would have tried to make this a little more believable.

Gmail had me going for a minute with their paper archive mailings (I wasn't quite believing it, because I couldn't believe that they could afford to send mail for free). It was 3 AM and still felt like March 31. Then I remembered and excitedly cruised the Internet to see my favorite sites gone awry.

Facebook has a couple decent pranks, one of which is replacing Mark Zuckerberg's name at the bottom with a random user's name.

And... um... the hovering lime in "Let Us Give TANKS!" is back, if that means anything.
