I went to the homestarrunner site and I saw a new phrase and it wasn't on the site

I put it on the site http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/Quote_of_the_Week

I didn't know where it was from, so I put "Unsure where it is from" and someome edited it to "Quote of the Week exclusive" But I put it up   :) :) :marzi:

Nicely done. Someone has to be the first to notice a new update, right?

By the way, is there anybody who has stinko_break.mp3 on their computer?

You still have the "take a break with pudding" Stinkoman quote? Fantastic! Can you e-mail tom at hrwiki dot org with it? He needs to put up a mirror link for the wiki.

Good job. Back when I was a Knowledge Base guy, I remember I beat everyone to Bis Cas Fri 3, and got to do the entire transcript. It was pretty cool.

Congradulation.

Actually, the person who claims the transcript gets to do the entire thing, regardless of whoever else is online at the time. Maybe it was different in 2005, I don't know.

what if someone found it first, and they're editing it when you found it...can you edit one while someone else is too? :ehsteve:

It'll tell you if another edit has been made, then it'll make you redo it.

No, Shwoo had it right. I started editing the transcript of BCF 3, and they all let me finish it.

I also got to do the transcript for Mission Control, but I think Ju Ju helped me out with it. So I guess it's a little of both. I'm not sure how it's done now: I haven't edited in a long time.

Yeah, I remember doing Mission Control with you. Nowadays, the first person to start a transcript puts a template up telling others not to edit. I liked it better before, it was more fun. Felt like a group effort.

Speaking of editing the transcript

"
This transcript is in progress.
Sam the Man (Talk) is currently working on this transcript. Please do not edit this section unless absolutely necessary.
If Sam the Man cannot complete it, then he or she should remove this template so another user can finish the transcript."

Looks like someone is getting the transcript done for the new-sbemail

I feel like a nerd, posting in a topic about updating the Quote of the Week page...

That is all.

If you think it's so nerd like, then please don't post. As easy as that.

I'd be careful with spam, it makes ramrod deathly ill.

Anyways, just a rule of thumb : Don't make posts just for the sake of making posts. Don't be all like, "Hey, I want to post in every single topic I can find!"
