I feel so stupid right now! When I first saw the baby thing, I assumed it was an excuse to go on vacation! (a well deserved one!) But a baby is a much better reason!

I'm glad you wished them well (I, too, am very happy for them and their new bundle of joy), but the email you sent is a little creepy. What's wrong with a simple congrats? Why did you have to compare them to Paris Hilton and tell them their kids are more famous than they are? I mean, I realize you were joking, but sometimes things like that don't come across well in an email. Just my two cents.

I'm so hapy for Matt and Jackie. Scarce updates because of a new baby seem beyond reasonable to me. Caring for a new baby is an exciting lifestyle change.

I honestly think it is great that the Chaps have a job that they can put on hold as long as they want. Many people would kill to just say "Takin' a baby break" and not worry about getting fired. I can only hope to have such a luxury someday. :cheatgrin:

has anyone noticed... updates seem to be speeding up now? like, 2 shorts, a main page, sales, and sbemails are coming back? they must have a lot of free time, or that baby sure can keep quiet.

Ya but updates still are a lot slimmer than normal, and this is thier only job, so the only thing getting in the way of the toons and whatnot is the baby. So of course they'll still have ocasional updates. The baby probably can't really keep quiet, but it's not going all the time, and they've still got to contine with thier only source of income even with the baby.
