When do you think TBC will finally stop doing homestar? What will you do?

Personally, as long as they still make money, I think TBC will keep it up untill they decide to move on to something else.

When Homestar ends, I don't know what I'll do. Homestar is the best cartoon ever. Even better than Rocko's Modern Life

UHHHH.....EGGS.

I agree with this man here.

Well, people will probably be sad/ticked, but they'll get over it.

I was sad when

Not even Earthworm Jim?

As for your question, I don't think I'll be too upset when it's all over. I've had enough of my favorite shows cancelled already, I can take it. Plus, Homestarrunner isn't really one of my absolute favorite cartoons anyways.

I don't want Homestar Runner to end for a long, long time. I'm having too much fun in the fandom.

At least if it does end, we have hours upon hours of content to review.

I mean, some of my favorite cartoons ended after only a few episodes (FLCL, Clerks, Brak Show). homestar is the kind of thing where I can watch a few emails a day, then start over after a while.

Why will they ever stop? They need to make money, they don't have enough to retire, and they love what they're doing. I also doubt that it's possible that Matt will stop being able to do the voices. I expect at least another 20 years.

20 years might be pushing it though. But I don't see them ending soon. Not with kids and all.

Well, you never know. They might get bored with it after a while, or start to feel they're running out of creative juice.

When the get old enough to retire, the will stop updating regularly, and just make cartoons for pure fun, and not for money and fans.

I don't know. TGS 13 was the best thing I had seen in a while.

As far as I can see, Homestar will not end for awile. 5-10 years, maybe more. The new baby means updates will be scarce, but they'll surely come back to work at one point.

Well don't they always take brakes for June and/or July?

I don't think its the smartest idea to quit while they hav the new paper AND the possibility of a new computer. just a thought.

I had the full Garbage Disposal song stuck in my head for a day.
I almost got beat up for singing it to much.

I've been bracing myself for the inevitable end or H*R for the past year or so. I'm just happy that it's still going on! Funny that this question comes up again, now, as I was contemplating this just last night, staring at all my H*R memorabilia and thinking of how this cartoon, its characters, and the references have enriched my life over the last 4 years.

Many people might feel that TBC have jumped the shark, perhaps multiple times. But I feel a whole lot more assured these days, especially after some of the recent things that were really, really good, such as TGS 13. I thought that one was brilliant, and was really perplexed that fans seemed to be so divided over it.
I think they still have plenty of great things to bring to the table. It's just that, now, the characters are so well-defined that it's harder to have that intrigue that we all felt when watching "A Jorb Well Done" or "A Decemberween Pageant"...but it's still enjoyable.

So will H*R end soon? :senor: Excobably not.
At least I hope not.

Cartoons and webtoons are the same thing.

They just call it webtoon because it's on the web.

But other than that, it's still a cartoon.

I doubt that Homestar Runner will end for at least another five years. TBC has been going strong for nearly seven years now, and in my opinion, they've been progressively getting funnier throughout that time (though there have been a few poorer moments, but still). If they decided to quit making Homestar Runner however, they'd probably just move on to a newer webtoon to refresh their creative juices, now that they have gained so much experience in Flash.

Oh, and I agree with COLA, nothing is better than Rocko's Modern Life. :P

What? No. No. No. I mean, no. Never. No. What? No.

But seriously. I'm gonna die when Homestar goes off the air. I mean when the wedpage does. I mean...

I think they'll stop on their own terms, when THEY get bored with it.
