I know, this must've been discussed a hundred times already, but this is just for the record, once Matt, Mike, and Missy are all long gone, what will have happened to the little whitey before then?

Is it gonna be like something emotional, will a character die, or will, something really soap opera-ish happen?

Will it just end? Period? No questions asked?

Or is it gonna be something really goofy like the true spirit of the cartoon, one last laugh before homestar and his friends ride of into the sunset?

And their children? Imagine the position they could be put into, the hard desicion if they want to follow their own paths, or follow in the parents' footsteps for the greater good, or maybe simply for them.

Or they could just really like homestarrunner and take it up themselves voluntarily.

Before the series ends, I want the show to become bad, I mean real bad. Like Simpsons Seasons 11 - 20 bad. If a show ends and is still good, I get upset that it had to end. If it becomes crappy at the end, then I have the comfort in knowing that the cancellation is for the best. If/When Homestar ends I want a few episodes which would be completely crappy.

I'd rather see it go out on top.
Watching a horrible show drag on for the sake of dragging on (see the last couple seasons of Married With Children) is like watching a pro athlete who owned the game in his prime keep playing well beyond the time he should.

Oh, come on, Season 11-20 isn't that bad.

That beign said, if it ends, we'll have some weird finale musical toon that ends with Homestar reminiscing about stuff that never happened.

I say "Go with the Super Mario Brothers 2 ending."

Matt wakes up. Everything was a dream.
Mike throws a cat at him.

I don't know if they will give it a grand finale, maybe they will just drop it at some point, you know? Like, we don't even realise that it's the end, just another toon or sbemail.

Me, I'm banking on science discovering the cure for death before then, and they just keep making stuff until the sun goes out. Hey, I can dream, right?

At least my team's coach doesn't always dress like it's laundry day.

If they keep up the New Paper jokes, I think those are crappy enough.

You don't get it do you? The chapmen are putting the new paper there so they will feel they are on some sort of level with Strong Bad. It's something to hate...together, like Newman from seinfeld...well maybe it's not completely like that, but it has that tone of being Strong Bad's annoying next door neighbor.

....am I the only one who likes the new paper jokes? >.> I personally think Strong Bad will move on when one of his fans finally emails him to move on. That would be awesome.

Anyway...about the site closning down...

I can't imagine TBC just leaving the site hanging w/o letting thier fans know they've quit. It'd be more likely they'd make some kind of last finale Sbemail and toon at the very least thanking their fans or something.

It may be a bit bitter sweet but I HIGHLY doubt it would be soap opera-ish. Unless the website *does* go bad (which I hope will never happen) but heh...we'll see.

I personally hope that when the site *does* stop getting updated it won't be because TBC jumped the shark. I want it to end with a positive note...not a "Well, it's about time" type thing.

But, we'll see what happens. It'll be interesting when the time comes.

Just because the series is finished doesn't necessarily mean the wiki would go offline - it can still hold all the data for the old toons. And if the wiki is still here, so are we.
