ok well, i just recently got in a argument with a bully named chris butler, (yes i am saying his name to the world thank you very much)about wether homestar is cool and very popular or not, i remember the arguement word for word, here we go (homestar will reperesent me cause....he's my fav and strong bad will reperesent chris because hes a bully likewise chris)

:hr: (talking to another person) so you havent heard of homestar runner but you have played trogdor on guitar hero 2?
:sb: homestar runner? are you talking about that stupid flash cartoon?
:hr: it is'nt stupid and yes i am
:sb: what are you talking about? i saw homestar once and i thought it was the gayest thing i've ever seen
:hr: only gays think things are gay
:sb: no, it IS gay
:hr: yeah right, the site is sooooo popular it's way better than that crap salad fingers or aqua teen hungerforce that actually became a tv series
:sb: well, if it's so popular them how come it's not on tv yet?
:hr: simple, belive it or not comedy central recently asked homestar runner to be on tv but the brothers chaps refused to televise it and keep it tue to the web it now has denied nickoloden, cartoon network, adult swim, and now comedy centr...

:hr: once again i say, not true,according to the wiki, in april of 2006 there was that white text thing that said "nothing beats us now" and in parenthisis ("exept for homestar runner.com which kicks our "a word"")

so thats pretty much the arguement has anything like this happend to you? if so please post i'd love to hear your stories about homestar runner

It's things like this that make me glad I'm not a teenager anymore.

Lighten up, everyone! It's just a cartoon thing.

I was once made fun of in elementary school because I liked watching cartoons...by a boy wearing a Bugs Bunny shirt.

Don't let bullies bully you around...In five years or so, it won't matter what those kids at school think of you, or the things you enjoy.

The rest of my graduating class could be dead now for all I care.

Stupid jerks.

Anyway...You didn't really do a good job of defending Homestar there. Putting other things down in an attempt to make something else look better is...something bullies do. DON'T BE A BULLY!

(SIDE NOTE: if you haven't picked up a copy of "Bully" the video game yet, I highly recommend it! Setting off the fire alarm in the dorm and then spraying everyone with the fire extinguisher when they run out of their rooms and then hiding in the trashcan while they beat each other senseless is one the most fun things I have ever had the privilege of doing in a video game)

Best thing to do in situations like that? WALK AWAY.

You like what you like, he likes what he likes. Leave it at that.

ok guys i just rememberd yet another argument this time involving me and my sister i dont rememebr a lot of the words but i'll give it a shot!!
(once aagin i will be represented by homestar and my sister will be represented my trogdor, you may ask why not marzipan? the awnser, i always thought that my sister was a dragon in disguise)

:hr: (talking to my mom) can i please add a homestar picture to the invitation?
:trogdor: (intrupting my mom) no! cause i will not let a retarted cartoon to be on my invitation!

you know what? your right man! i bet he's gonna come and bully me on monday and i'm just gonna walk away thanks so much for your advice i really appreciate it. as for the making other things look bad i really hate salad fingers but aqua teen isnt bad. its pretty funny actually

I don't really think Homestar is gay, but I do think Homestar Runner slash is one of the best things ever. I wish I knew why.

And Homestar does seem to be mentally retarded (not retarted). But the Body Of Work is not. But if your sister doesn't like Homestar Runner, you probably shouldn't try putting it on her stuff.

Oh my God, you guys. I understand you guys really like Homestar, but some people in your life just couldn't care less if you do, and they will let you know this by telling you you are gay. And you probably are for obsessing over a flash cartoon and attempting to implement it in your everyday life. Your mother doesn't want to hear about some wrestle man who checks his e-mail, and neither does the red-haired rapscallion "bully" at school. And trust me, I know this first hand. When I was 12, I was obsessed with Homestar. I told everybody about it constantly, and many kids by the end of the year wanted to beat the ever-loving crap out of me. Thankfully, I learned my lesson and became just a casual fan of this cartoon.

tl;dr - some people don't like Homestar Runner. Deal.

But there so many better ways to do it, and without bringing homestar into the mix.

Doos brings up a good point. Some people dont like homestar. It might be because they were introduced to it be starting off with an email like "The Basics", or it might be that they have seen several episodes and genuinely dont like it. Who cares? They problem is, when you argue with them, you just make homestar fans look bad.

Also, you really arent hoping to change their opinion, are you? It esier to fit a camel through the eye of a pin than to do that.

Also, thanks. Dreamcast does, in fact, own. I own 3, and have 6 controllers so if a console or controller breaks, I'm set.

the oldest console i have is a SNES, while my cousin has a 2600, a genisis, a NES, a N64, a Sega saturn , a dreamcast...But i'oll have most windows versions soon!

ok so here we go , this time, it was actually on runescape you know the mmorpg? anyway i got in a fight with somone whos name i will not say
