I only take peeks at other Wikis and I've found this thing that displays the logo of a random Wiki site. I would like to know, has Homestar Wiki ever appeared in one, and is there a specific reason as to why Homestar Wiki does not have a Wikia Spotlight? |

The main reason is that the H*R Wiki is made with MediaWiki, not Wikia. |

To clarify: Wikia wikis also run MediaWiki software, but the Homestar Runner Wiki is on its own webspace instead of being hosted by wikia.com |

Not that we haven't been asked. But we definitely don't want to be a Wikia. Even if you ignore the ads and other red tape, we'd still lose a lot of our custom MediaWiki extensions that were written just for our wiki. |

And then It's dot com would lose his reason to claim the hundreds of millions of dollars we pretend to pay him to write all those fancy extensions. It'd be chaos. |
