favorite song on homestar runner?

For the record, let the guy with too much trivial knowledge in his head who's been with website for most of it's lifespan (who heard the website through word of mouth) say that TBC have *never* advertised for their show with bought and paid advertising, their renown has come entirely through word of mouth, as it originally was just a goofy thing they did in their spare time.

Also, let the records stand that popularity never makes something automatically worse, it is when whatever it is that becomes popular takes a step back from what made itself popular and instead works hard to please its newfound fanbase. Some may know it as jumping the shark, others may know it as selling out, but either way, it's mindless crowd pleasing that decreases the original "ness" of a something that once was great. TBC are specifically not known for that (as evidenced not only by their own statements, but also by a lack of things such as excessive trogdor, tgs, no obvious pressing rush for a level ten, they take breaks as they see fit).

Also, let the record stand that every song in montage is amazing. That is all. *nods*

I always liked the original "Everybody, everybody!" tune at the start. I first heard it by mistake somehow when there was this forum that went away and someone did a tribute flash animation thing. It was actually "Homestar Runner (Everybody, Everybody! mix)" by The Very Low Sodium Band.

I didn't have a clue what Homestar was at the time, but the animation moved me. Shortly after that I stumbled o'cross the Homestar Runner website.

And that song actually wasn't on Homestar's site, so I've have to say Limozeen's version of Don' t Care and "The Ballad of The Sneak".

I also whistle the theme to The Cheat Commando's every time someone signs onto Trillian, cause it sounds like the first few notes.... doo dooo de dee deee deee doo doooo...
