Actually, it's due to a common flaw in your motherboard, most likely. Take your computer apart (be sure to do so on carpet flooring -- run the dehumidifier -- do NOT touch metal other than your computer! this is important!). One of the green flat things is the motherboard. If there are more than the required twenty-eight electronic components, then it's a manufacturing flaw and there's nothing you can do about it. Re-insert the motherboard, go to Start --> Run and type in regedit, then hunt through the registry and change some values to zero. That might at least cancel the deadly effects of the flaw. Otherwise, it's a virus. Put your computer in the oven and select "Clean" to clean the viruses from your computer. I know all about computers. Okay buddy, here's what you need to do. Clearly you need to call tech support. Geek Squad or summat. Tell them about your problem. However, it's likely you won't be able to fix it over the phone. I suggest going into the store and asking them in person. Perhaps bring your computer with you. Also, watch yourself, Ingiald. That's a rule 6 violation. They keep drinking that water, they're going to have to pee (or they'll pop, which would be a pretty dramatic way of taking care of our problem). They will lose this battle. EDIT: The Natural Resource Defense Council, PETA, and Sierra Club have sued us in 12 Circuit Court of Appeals. Apparently, this particular breed of Alpaca is a threatened species and Joey has not filed a 404 Permit (apparently, our servers are on a large lake) and the Army Corps of Engineers doesn't allow ANY work near water without one. Looks like we're going to have to find another way to deal with them daggum aplacas. Maybe we can just shoot them all. I'll go find a hazmat suit so they can't spit on me. |

Okay, I did some research today, and according to the Nature Guide that I found in my school's library, apparently Alpacas, while they are all woolly, aren't meant to be - they were just bred to have lots of wool. This means that while they are covered in warm fur, their bodies cannot always process the heat that the wool insulates. So, since alpacas also lack the proper sweat glands, they must drink lots of water to keep cool. This explains our problems over in the server room. But not to worry! I've got the perfect solution. I've sent a package to Joey containing some of my finest family sheep shears. Back in the early fifties my grandparents tried to start up a sheep farm in Colorado, something about the mountain air being good for the grass, but that's not the point. Anyway, they spent a ton of money on high quality shears, and they've been given to my parents after the flocks were sold to pay off the house. I sent Joey the full set of instructions how to work the shears, so once the package gets there, the alpacas should be cooled off and we'll be back up and running in no time. |
