You probably noticed that the forum was locked for the last few weeks. This was because of several factors, in particular dissatisfaction on the part of the administration over the direction of the forum (the hrwiki.org Admins, not ramrod and StrongRad). We have used this time to retool a few things.
We're still in a transition phase as we sort all this out. Please continue to bear with us. Thanks one million. |

I'm sad to hear that the forum was shut down for so long for what appears to be nonsense. Hopefully people return, but I am unsure how wise it is to close down parts of the forum relating to non-Homestar Runner stuff. Removes a sense of community. One can only hope that with time that will return and a new community will form.

Yay, the forum is back!  I hope the off topic section will return after a while. I mean, I love Homestar Runner and all, but it's the off topic that brings life into a forum (only my opinion), especially since there are only so many new toons/sbemails a year to talk about. |

We can't say it's a ghost town just yet, since this forum has only be reopened for several hours; give it a few days. While I'm sure that a good portion of the KB members will make a return to here, most of the members that frequented the Off Subject sections have shown no interest in returning, which is fine. If this place can manage to maintain a regular level of activity while being focused on only Homestar Runner subjects, then the actions over the last few weeks would have been for a good cause. For now, I'll probably drop my activity levels here to focus on both the other board and on school work. |

Ian is probably right, unless the mods, admins, and modmins forbid it. Otherwise that will end up being the primary purpose of the General section I suspect. |

It is a Fellowsite, but Inverse is planning on switching its domain sometime in the coming months (at least, I still think that's the plan). |

I wondered what happened to the obligatory forum links on the wiki articles. Sad to hear what went down. I think from now on I'll be more active, if only to post the "OMG HILARIOUS" crap I always posted on the toon threads. Oh well.

Ah, the old forum's back. Man, it was locked for a couple weeks and now it all feels so nostalgic... and kinda old... and boring. I'ma go back to SIBHoD. EDIT: Man, I'd forgotten what my av. and sig. looked like. It's kinda weird. |

Well, since the forum is (pretty much) taken care of, are you going to bring your focus back to the fanstuff wiki? Also, I was kind of sad to see this place close down so sudden. Even though I'm not extremely active here.  Wow, I'm not used to not seeing ramrod's name in red(or was it green?). Is the only reason you demodded him was because he was going to be on another forum, too? I didn't even know we had a competitor!

The higher-ups didn't like it. |
