Would anyone else think it would be funny if there was a toon or short based around The Poopsmith and from his point-of-view? And by that I mean you could hear his thoughts and find out what he REALLY thinks about the other characters.

"Oh here comes that Strong Sad guy. Man I hate him."

Yeah it would be cool, but the problem is is that it would break the poopsmith's vow of silence in a way.

I thought about that. Though, technically he's not really speaking and it'd be kinda cool to see his real personality.

Maybe insted of him saying stuff it could just be on-screen text.

that would work, but too many people (silly people I mean) would find it boring.

Which people would find it boring? Why would they necessarily find it boring? After all, it's never been done before. How can you presume to speak for them? Would you personally find it boring? Are there more non-silly viewers than silly ones? Cite your sources, please.

Meaning people with little attention span. I could see many people not liking a cartoon of mostly text. But I might be wrong...

Actually... why would you need to hear him speak? It could be done completely from a first-person POV... where he is just minding his own business shoveling his whats-it.... the other characters come and go and he sees things that happen from his POV...

you presume to see how ridiculous everyone else is from his POV without him saying a word..

I think that would be more creative and interesting then have him speak or even use text AND he'd continue his "vow" ... the main point of the vow is that you never get to actually HEAR his voice. So TBC are not going to let you hear it period.

Well, not counting the "Hello!" in different town and (possibly) the "Ohhhh, yeah!" in senior prom.

Good point, Dot com. I actually remember seeing some page on the wiki saying something about the poopsmith never OFFICIALLY speaking. I should go read that again, and see if him talking to himself inside his head would be too out of place...

This would kind of kill it though, because when I originally came up with this idea, I had thought that most of the jokes would come from the fact that other people can't hear what he's thinking. Though you guys are probably right. Text might work a little better.

That would be a really interesting toon. I'd enjoy it, definitely.

I suppose the closest thing we've had to a Poopsmith toon would be KOT's VOQPCS!, in which he played a rather large role, but yeah, something really starring The Poopsmith could be interesting.

The Poopsmith should never talk, have hearable/readable thoughts or anything of that kind. It would ruin his mystique.

Technically it was "The King Of Town's Very Own Quite Popular Cartoon Show" but the "episode" we saw was pretty much all Poopsmith so at least I consider it a Poopsmith toon.

Having heard his voice, do you still stand by this?

Have his thoughts be voiced over by A. Chimendez. It could be his new reality T.V. show!
I like his voice, but his voice actor is busy with his band and might not have time for this kind of thing.
