While it is true that some characters have undergone slight and insignificant changes between now and 2001, when the last real great change happened, for the most part, they have generally stayed more or less the same as they did for the past seven or eight years! Do you think it is time that at least two or three of any of the characters undergo another evolutionary change? They all should do so eventually, but the reason I said two or three is so that it doesn't happen all at once.

No way, man. The site pretty much blew up in popularity after the 2001 changes, and people are hesitant to accept change. Minor shading or visual updates maybe, like the newer main pages. But something really big (ahem, the Poopsmith talking?) can really turn people (me) off.

Would be awesome if The Brothers Chaps can somehow reverse that Poopsmith change, like having it turn out to have been him lip-syncing or something, but they rarely refer to previous works in new content. Oh well, just have to live with it I guess.

I'm not so much concerned about who speaks as just how they look. And for your information, I was referring to physical updates, like in their bodies.

Figured as much, but if they changed a character as drastically as they did in 2001, I don't think it would be embraced. It just wouldn't sit right. I was just using the Poopsmith as an example of change that wouldn't sit right with many fans.

One thing that I would have liked is the 3-D variants of Homestar and The Cheat in SBCG4AP to have looked more like their flash counterparts. Homestar's head comes to a point, and The Cheat looks nothing like his cartoon variant. Maybe in season 2, the models will be corrected. I understand that it's hard to transfer these characters to a 3-D environment, but come on!

Given how intrinsically 2-dimensional the characters are (especially with eye positioning, in the cases of Homestar and The Cheat), I think Telltale did very well to get them to match as close as they did.

I took eye positioning into consideration, with the puppet stuff in mind. But I noticed that the camera angles that the characters are seen through are pretty static, if you ask me. I know that Telltale had a big job on their hands, and did a pretty good job on all the characters. But you can't help but notice Homestar and The Cheat's differences.

Another thing that didn't quite seem right was Homestar "smiling" in the promo. In another forum on Telltale's site, It was a revelation (to me), that on the site, Nearly all of Homestar's facial expressions come from only his eyes. That one little smile, coupled with his head modeling might have made me biased. I dunno. In the light of the thread's title, I'd like to see The Cheat and Homestar remolded if SBCG4AP doesn't stop at one season.
