Where will H*R be in 10-years, assuming it'll still be going? I think that the 201th email will finally come out, and it'll be really, really bad. |

I think if h*r does still exist by then, TBC will have given up animation and focus solely on PC/Nintendo games (or PC/Sony games if Nintendo reduces to a 3rd party video game manufacturer due to backlash from hardcore gamers), which means that those who still care about h*r will have to spend tens of dollars to appease their fixation. |

I have a bit more of an optimistic view: in 2018, Homestar will make a deal with Wal-Mart, their apparel and DVDs will be sold by the millions, and, becoming too old, rich, and popular for their liking, The Brothers Chaps will retire by creating a 90-minute internationally-released feature film! (Isn't this thread similar to Homestar Ending?) |

I doubt that Homestar will exist in ten years. |

In ten years we'll all care even less about homestar than we do now. |

Speak for yourself. If it's still around in 10 years then it will have had to maintain quality enough to keep a fanbase. |

Not necessarily. It could be argued that the Simpsons maintained a fanbase well after ten years despite declining quality. Ten years into the future? It doesn't seem terribly likely that TBC will still be working on Homestar Runner--I suspect they'll be up to some new and fresh project by then. But hey, I could be wrong. Judging from the first few Strong Bad emails, you wouldn't have expected it to still be going strong all the way to #200. H*R is nothing if not full of surprises. |

You do have a point. There are fans of The Simpsons who weren't even born when it started to decline in quality (when it switched from subtle satire to all-out zaniness). So it might be that fans 10 years from now would be fans of a Homestar Runner product that, as far as today's fans are concerned, is a product that matches today's product in name only (although I find this doubtful given that the entire primary body of work is available all the time online, and even though it would take many hours to watch all the toons, it's not nearly the investment of trying to catch up on a TV show). |

Guy in a Box, you just game me an extreme case of jibblies. Can you imagine... Miley Cyrus as Marzipan?!? But you do raise an interesting point: If Homestar ever made it to the small screen, what network would it be on? |

I'm sure a Homestar Disney Channel show could work if it was animated. Phineas and Ferb (at least the 1st season, I haven't seen a whole 2nd season episode) proves that Disney Television Animation is going back down the right path. |

If you ask me, if TBC ever thought about putting Homestar on the tube, I personally think that Cartoon Network or Comedy Central would be good choices. This is my own opinion, though. But still, Bad Bad Guy, Disney is full of censoring and changing inappropriate stuff. Just makes me think about what they'd do to the Poopsmith, or any of the characters saying "crap" over and over. It wouldn't probably make it with them. And I agree with you about Phineas and Ferb. It's the only show on Disney Channel that's actually funny.

I assumed that crap about Miley Cyrus meant that a Disney Homestar show would be live action. It wouldn't work at all. |

What I meant by that comment is having teenage talking heads VOICING the other charecters. Homestar Runner could NEVER work in live-action. Just imagine the geinuses at Disney changing the show's CONTENT... a-jibblie-jibblie. By the way, I didn't realize I wasn't the only Phineas and Ferb fan here! I LOVE that show- a refreshing departure from recycled plots and celebrities for three-year-olds. "Curse you Perry the Platypus!"

She is in love with Zac Efron. I mean "I'm going to marry you" love. And she's reading what I'm typing behind my back, so I'm going to get back to this post once I get another chance.

Would Comedy Central be an appropriate channel to play Homestar Runner on, or is Homestar Runner not dirty enough for them? |

In 10 years Homestar Runner will be adapted into holograms on our hologram TVs. Yay 2D hologramphic homestar! |

I don't think Homestar would work as a TV show. I think TBC like having a website 'cause it gives them more freedom than if it was a TV show. |

Yeah, otherwise they're going to have the network censors all up in dere face. We're just speculating here, though. It could happen. *shrugs* |
