is anyone else been frustrating at the amount the brothers chaps have been spending on the game and not on toons? I mean, i completely understand their incentive of, i guess widening the spectrum of the homestar universe. but its getting a little annoying. we havent had a sbemail since 200 and there's so many ways they could have gone after the introduction of the hremail. i cant even play the game because i have a mac and no wii. this is just getting annoying.

It's tradition for TBC to take a break from Strong Bad Email after every 50th episode, so I don't think anyone should blame the game (I know it's a stupid unintentional rhyme, but I thought having to type that abbreviated name again would be even dumber) for the lack of new toons.

I'm reasonably certain that the games contribute to the lack of toons anyway (particularly the first one). However, they are still hitting all the major points (email 200, Halloween, etc.), so sporadic updates are worth forgiving (especially considering times when they didn't update at all, such as the baby break). Either way, once the game is finished in December, updates should probably return to normal.

I'm annoyed too, but their website is free. Either way I get more than my money's worth.

Talking about your money's worth, I was really disappointed when I bought something from the store recently and discovered that the thank-you-messages don't play anymore. Now I'll never get to see them, because last time I bought something, I had to have a friend place the order from his computer and I could only hear the video through the telephone (they didn't accept Paypal yet and I don't have a credit card). :((
Anyway, I hope there will be more updates once the game is done. I mean, I can't play it yet, so I don't know if it was worth it, but yes, it's kind of annoying to wait for an update and not getting one again and again. I sure appreciate all the time and effort they put into the side and the game and everything, and I don't mean to be ungrateful, it's just that I had taken it up as part of my weekly routine and now I miss that part. It was kind of a motivation to me.

Myself I absolutely adore the SBCG4AP games and prefer them mostly to the cartoons. Their length and interactivity is what makes them so great!
Of course, Homestar will always be about the site.

I think that they've used the absence to make the new DVD that came out last Monday. They'll probably start back up either this Monday or the next.

We should all give up on hremails, I sent Homestar an email a few days ago and got a return message saying the email address no longer exists.

Eh...kinda like King Of Town e-mails and Strong Sad's e-mail. We all thought that THEY were going to be a series...

Really? That's sad.
Maybe they'll re-instate it, but that isn't likely.
I was sorta looking forward to a possibility of hremails.

I'm sure updates will start happening regularly again once 8-Bit is Enough is done. Whenever that will be.

Im just as annoyed as you but we have to remember they just finished Dangeresque 3 and come on theyre probally tired. Also remember they have lives too if they want to take a break after a long creation of a video game thats fine. Theyll also have to start a new one in a couple of weeks so give theese guys a break. Remember comedy takes time. ;)
