We all know the Homestar Runner ----> :hr:
I should know, I'm his 3rd cousin twice removed.
But anyways, do you think that the sbemails are over and we should now enjoy hremails? Although I'm not sure hremails will become a series but do you think they will be better than sbemails?

So do you want sbemails or do you want hremails now?

I personaly want the sbemails to stay but.....What do you want?

This hremail was very funny (funnier than any of the sbemails have been in the past year or so, in my opinion), but I definitely want Strong Bad back at some point (as long as The Brothers Chaps work on improving the quality of his emails, that is). Strong Bad has the potential to be the most hilarious, perfect character in the world, but I've been finding him pretty annoying recently.

It's classed as a toon and titled Hremail 62. It's doubtful that it's part of a series. The naming convention could get confusing.

I would much prefer Strong Bad Emails. Hremail 62 wasn't that funny. Homestar's just not as good at it as Strong Bad.

I personally prefer Strong Bad answering emails. Don't get me wrong, hrmails are a lot of fun too, but in small doses. I think TBC should go ahead and keep doing them, but make them like once every 6 months to a year. That way they will still stay fresh and exciting to watch. :hr:

I have a feeling that HRemails will become a random and occasional feature like Marzipan's answering machine.

I also don't know why anybody here is taking seriously the notion that SBemails are ending. I'd have to actually hear TBC's commentary to confirm, but I'm almost positive they weren't serious about it being over. More like an offhand sarcastic remark.

Strong Bad Email carries the site, period. Ending that franchise would likely lose a good part of the audience, since there are likely some fans that come solely for that reason.

Strong Bad Email has spawned a number of new site features and characters over the years. In fact, if anyone can name a new element of the Homestar universe that *wasn't* introduced by SBemail, I'll buy you a Cold One.

Hremail is the same thing, just another spinoff in line behind Teen Girl Squad, Sweet Cuppin Cakes, Cheat Commandos, Dangeresque, and so on. Just happens to be this one features Homestar.

That's all it is, nothing more. We'll see Strong Bad back in action soon enough.

I haven't listened to it yet, because I've been really lazy about everything lately, but here's what the wiki says they say.
Quote:
MATT: It's too bad this is the last email we're ever making.

MIKE: Yeah.

MATT: For sure, I decided right now, for certain, never again.

MIKE: Really?

MATT: {overlapping} Sorry.

MIKE: I bet by the time this DVD's out we will have made one already.

MATT: No.

MIKE: {laughs} Alright.

MATT: I'm holdin' out.

MIKE: Okay.

MATT: I have a sore throat and dia— diarrhea.

MIKE: {laughs} I'm sure everyone needed to know that.

I don't know what tone they said that in, but it's too long to be an offhand sarcastic remark.

Offhand sarcastic remark, no; but certainly could have been a joking one, nonetheless (which I suspect it is).

Sounds too jokey to me.

"For sure, I decided right now, for certain, never again." Just sounds kinda staged. And the laughter too.

It would be funny if Hremails only came out twice or thrice a year, but each one would be a random number (Hremail 62, Hremail 76, Hremail 93, etc.) as if Homestar is actually making these things weekly, but we only get to see a few of them.

If they did that, they could even choose the numbers to suggest he makes one EVERY week, poking fun at themselves.

I'm pretty sure Sbemails aren't dead, but I'm kind of neutral on whether or not they should be.

I really think ending the sbemails would be bad.
I so wanna see the return of the paper from being burninated. :trogdor:
Oh and I'm actually Homestar's brother.
I'll explain that later.
