Does someone think that the concept of Cool Tapes is a parody to Bob Dylan, same as Sloshy's parody to The Smiths and My Bloody Valentine?

Cool Tapes doesn't really seem like a parody of Bob Dylan. If anything is a parody of Bob Dylan, it's "The Freewheelin' Eh! Steve," a reference to "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan." I always thought of Cool Tapes as just a band with no reference to anything. I also saw Sloshy as more of a parody of indie/alternative rock as a whole, and, as said on the Wiki, they really sound more like Pavement more than anything else.

Sloshy kinda sounds like Lemon Demon to me (except not as good).

Limozeen sounds like Guns N Roses, that's for sure... Sloshy maybe sounds like Lemon Demon, but I still say that Cool Tapes is a parody to Bob Dylan's late work.

For me, whenever I listen to a Limozeen video, they always remind me of Bon Jovi.
