Doing "Too Many Knives" at Talent Show, Need Help

As you can read, I'm doing the new classic, "Too Many Knives" at the Talent Show (for those who don't know, see An Important Rap Song). I need help on how to do it (movements, costume, etc.). I have the voice, but I'm not sure about the other stuff, & I need the help before 2/26/09.

You need the shades and the green shirt with "CRACK" on the pocket. And also paint some brown on your face in the shape of his unshavenness. What're you doing for his crew cut?

As for props, you'd probably need some background dancers to move stuff around.

1. I'll try to get a green shirt.

2. I'm black (more of brown), so the brown paint won't help at all

3. I already have short hair (really short), so the crew cut may not happen.

4. I can try to find some shades somewhere in my house or buy some.

Totally! If you make some cardboard cutouts of the important things like the bonfire and the volleyball net that are easy to move around, some people who could resemble the Cheat Commandos can bring them on and off stage as needed. Do you have a volleyball? Using a real one would make it more fun!

My school is only familiar with Gunhaver (who isn't in the Too Many Knives music video) so that will be a problem. Though, I can try to get the Cheat Commandos done on cardboard. As for the volleyball, I can try to borrow one.

Anymore ideas?

The school is more than familiar with Crack Stuntman. I'm sure they'll allow it.

If you'll let me wax artistic for just a moment: While you have fun trying to look like Crack Stuntman, don't forget to see if you can find some way to inject your own personality into it a bit. Make the performance your own, if you will. That's one of the things that makes a performance interesting: seeing how the performer makes his or her unique contribution to the performance. Just a thought, And I know, it's really vague. But like Strong Bad said way back in "the basics", "Develop your own style, TJ. Reach down inside yourself and pull out something, y'know, not like...organs. You know what I mean." Break a leg!

Wow, that was GREAT advice. I will certianly keep that in mind.

When is this talent show held anyway? If it's in February, it would be too soon to do a song about spring break. But if it is in March, then that's fine. But I would also like to know why your mother doesn't want you to do it.

Well, I don't know the best sites to host mp3 files nowadays; I usually just use my website or my Google Pages account, but if you don't have a GMail account to make that work, you can try wikiupload or Savefile.com.
