I fixed your poll. Most people don't seem to realize that H*R-related CAPTCHA for everybody (sysops too) was the main gag in 2007. The "the wiki has been shut down" part was an afterthought when we realized we needed to start the fundraising drive on that day as well. I've obviously thought everything we've done has been funny, but nothing since Tavi has come close to matching its impact on users and just now nuts some people went. I was on the fence about the 'Tavi thing at first, but the Special:Version page still said MediaWiki, and that kinda gave it away... Of course, I told everyone that the Special:Version page was literally copied automatically to Tavi. It was well-timed (since the servers had been running slow) and well-pulled off. |

Or at least it was similar to the Virus's effects, by making the Wiki very confusing and hard to look at. (Hey, 200th post!) |
