Let's take a break from complaining about the great hiatus and listen to this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlMh-qqd2wk

Listen to this for a second.

Now let me tell you something about this song.

Luka Megurine isn't a human. She's a software meant to create artificial singing.

Freaky, huh? I made this. The software's called Vocaloid 2, and she's the only English voice I have. If you'd like, I could make my Japanese voices, such as Miku Hatsune, whom you have heard of, try to sing the Strong Badian national anthem, but it won't sound much like it, obviously. However, with a bit of phenome editing I can make it at least slightly recognizable.

If you'd like a Homestar Runner song covered in Vocaloid 2, you'll have to provide me with a midi file of the song. I have zero musical knowledge, so I rely on midi files to help me do my work.

Like I said in the YouTube post, you can overlap it & make a duet with SB. She could do a CGNU duet too. Ooh, but can she do Because it's Midnite?

BTW nice Kino avatar.

I would if I had a midi.

And someone already made Rin Kagamine sing the CGNU fight song.

Wow, great job! I've heard quite a few songs in English sang by Vocaloids that I could not understand, but I could understand her perfectly!

Easy, just paste the url for the youtube video into listentoyoutube.com & it will spit out an audio file.

That's because Luka is programmed to sing in English. ^_~. I'm planning to get Big Al for Christmas, who has even better English than Luka because he's not voiced by a Japanese person.

@likalaruku: Umm no. That gets the mp3, but not a midi. Someone has to MAKE a midi from scratch, because it's different from an mp3. They're basically instructions for music programs such as Vocaloid or FL Studio to recreate a song. Like sheet music for the computer.
