Im not really sure how to join that Google group, but here's my script idea

Strong Bad email on the Compe

SB: The Long and winding road, that leads to this email. (pulls up email)

Dear Strong Bad
Do you think you could tell Matt and Mike that we appriciate their work?

SB: Matt and Mike? Who?
(zoom out to show Strong Sad)
SS: Uh, Strong Bad, I think they're talking about the brothers Chaps!
SB: (confused silence)
SS: The guys that invented us!
SB: OHH! Those guys!
SS: Yeah.
SB: Maybe we should thank those guys, even if they didn't give me enough abs.

(cut to the stick. HR, SS, SM, SB, and Marzi are there.)

SB: (standing on a soap box labeled "Oh twice!") Thats right folks! By request of some kid, we are going to tell our creators that we apriciate them! (sidemouth whisper) somehow. Ideas?
HR: Oh! We could send them 5 dollars!
SB: Okay. Who here wants to volunteer their money?
(easter egg, if possible: Click on the soapbox to see a pbtc drawing of a 5 "dolla" bill)
(crickets chirp)
SB: I thought not. Anything else?
(Senor Cardgage walks by in the background)
TC: (cheat noise)
SB: A fan-made toon, eh? Isn't that what we're in?
SS: (yelling) Fourth wall! Fourth wall!
SB: Shut up, dumperson!
Marzi: Well, we could start a tree garden named after them.
HR: What kinda hippy idea is that!
SB: Yeah
SS: Yeah!
TC: (cheat noise)
Marzi: Homestar, we're breaking up.
HR: again...
SB: Well, I guess it's time for the coolest appreciation thing ever. Thats right folks, the
(cut to the recording studio)
SB: ...Hit song!!!

(okay, so. If we do this one, I kind of have an idea of what the song could be like. Anyways, can anyone play an instrument here?)

Okay, so, it ends, and we play a real song (I was thinking either 15 Steps by Radiohead, or In My Life by The Beatles) and have notes to them about how we appreciate them.

Okay, everyone on this forum gather around, we'll divide into teams of animators, writers, voicers, directors, co-directors, indirectors, people who know what they're doing in Flash, people who don't know what they're doing in Flash but can take a stab at it anyway, and... the rest can supply the buffet.

Let's do it. We can get JKR for flash, and others can do the voices. We can get the funniest guy here to write it. I'll bring mountain dew, melonade, marshmallows, and jock strap pizza (maybe not jock strap pizza). Could it really be done? Well we were able to get a brthday card to TBC (thanks Invisible Robot Fish) Maybe we can get a toon. What do you think? is it crazy?

A fan made toon in the form of a "We are the World"-type song pleading for return to the site would be cool. Stick all the main cast in a recording studio, and include Limozeen, Peacey P, Taranchula, Sloshy, and Tenerance Love. I wish I knew anything about Flash.

What, a random and wacky comment by me being taken seriously? When said comment isn't being taken insultingly!? Well, I am a writer, and I did once write some Homestar characters into a story of mine... But I doubt the people responding to it really were taking it seriously in the first place!

Uhh... hey. I just thought that if we are gonna go ahead and make a fan cartoon the we might as well have proper forum topic for it instead of just posting in the "Another hiatus?" topic. [I guess you didn't notice that I had already split it into this separate thread. — It's dot com] Anyway, anyone can participate, even if they can't animate or do voice acting I'm pretty sure that you'll still be able to help in someway, even if it's just bringing the snacks . Actually I was just coming in to volunteer anyway, so sure why not. I suppose I'll go join that Google Group thing and post there, since things seem to be happening there. I must warn you, here and there, however, that making a cartoon is a ton of work. It looks much easier than it is, which means anyone involved has to be dedicated and stay true to their pledge to complete it. EDIT: Please edit the link to the Google Group into the first post. It's easy, first of all, click on the link. You see the part where it says "Home, Discussions, Members, Pages, Files" under that there should be the "join this group option. We already have a couple of scripts going on right now so I'd advise everybody to check it out. And could you please edit the link into the first post please first poster.

I'd absolutely love to help with the toon! We owe alot to the Brothers Chaps for all the laughs they've given us. I would love to help with the scripts... I'm not to good at animation (just got a mediocre flash program last week), but I'll try to contribute what I can.
