Post subject:  Who Is The Rejected Marzipan?

In the Museum section, in the Sketchbook section, there is a page of rejected Halloween costumes ideas. These have all been identified, as:
From Top Left: Oompa Loompa, Hellboy, ___, Marge Simpson
Bottom Row: Doug McKenzie, Travis Bickle, Comic Book Guy.
However, there is one missing character as you can see, the full body Marzipan. There have been a few guesses, but nothing really concrete. Can anyone think of anything?

(To see them all, here's a link.)

She looks sorta' familiar, but I can't seem to place who she is.

If we figure it out and TBC actually send Thunderbird the ten bucks (which would be awesome), we should donate it to the wiki.

Is it supposed to be a cartoon character?

It's either Mary Tyler Moore or Shirley from Laverne and Shirley.

Good call. The hair is remeniscent of Mary Tyler Moore, but what's up with the apron-thing? Or maybe MTM wore an apron, and I just didn't know that.

Could be Dick Van Dyke-era MTM. I dunno. I remember this sketchbook page and being confused about Marzi's costume myself.

http://www.absolutenow.com/new/mary_tyler_moore.html Mary Tyler Moore?

http://www.moviemarket.co.uk/Photos/Lav ... 06544.html Shirley?

Anyone think she's close to either of them?

At long last, this has finally been answered. The TBC updated the museum, including some of the sketchbook descriptions. It's Trixie, Speed Racer's girlfreind.

They do care. *sniff* :p

Looks like this can finally be taken off Thunderbird's list of questions then. Only [counts] 43 to go. Remember that if you're going to be here, anyone

Marzipan was supposed to be Trixie? I would have never have thought of that, and I used to love Speed Racer.....

TRIXIE!!?? She was the LAST person I would have guessed. She's just not someone I would have thought of.

If they weren't already. I still think that T-Smash was one of TBC.

We also included that comment in a recent featured article. Either they saw it here in the forum, there in the feature, in my list 'o questions (which was moved to an HRWiki namespace yesterday), or perhaps alot of people were bugging them via email regarding that question. In any case, that's one of the biggies off of my list.
