As we all know, Trogdor is just a character that Strong Bad made up on the spot.

Yet, there's also an arcade game based on Trogdor.

Does Strong Bad secretly work for Videlectrix, or something?

He probably mailed the concept art to Videlectrix, and they were all both just so excited that anyone was even aware of their existence.

I'll have to agree with the above. It's the only theory that
seems to make sense. Not to mention the only one I could
even think of.
