Has there ever been a time where someone said something, or something happened, or you saw something, and it just made you want to yell out a H*R quote?

Okay, maybe you didn't yell it out. Heck, you may have even just thought it. But still, that's a Homestar Moment. Have you ever had one of those?

When I was watching the news about hurricane Dennis, you can guess what flashed through my mind: "Obvious exits are: NOT DENNIS". Of course, I didn't say it, seeing as how I would have to explain to everybody what that meant.

Mainly just moments where an inconspicuous quote can be thrown in, eg, "Yeah, you're probably right" or "I know, can you believe it"

As above, I don't say many out loud for having to explain myself.

I actually said NORTH SOUTH AND DENNIS. I've gotten tha urge before and actually used some before like I've got all types of crazy crap when someone asked me what I had for lunch and I've got so many facets, and like you don't even know what facets are when my friend was telling me how I was too addicted to Homestar (kind of ironic).

Oh yeah, I do say "I know! Can you beleive it?" a lot. That's any easy one to use. Sometimes I use :bubs:'s quote "Hey there everypeoples!"

my brother was about to punce on me and he was saying something like "I'm a panther!" or somehting stupid like that, i don't know, but before he finished i hissed out "I'ma goat-faced killa!!" and he just started laughing for a long time. Then i told him it was from homestar and he said i was original. So i punched him in the face.

My brother was watching t.v. once and it said "1999" and I said "that was a good year" in my best Senor Cardgage voice. Then my brother was like "what??". So I had to explain the Senorial Day thing.

NARRATOR: 2005! 2004! 1999!

SENOR CARDGAGE: Those were all good years. Don't let another minute go you by.

I don't know if I've had specific Homestar 'moments', per se. There have just been times in random conversation where I've yelled out 'JAEERRRRBBBBB', certain lines from Rock Opera (especially 'professional totally diggity underdrawers', and 'positate without pizzaz and jam!!'), or 'I HAVE A FUNNY HAT!!!' My behavior has even been known to extend to Forumspeak, where I've actually said 'toastpaint' and 'argblblblblbl' before as well. Of course, I'm not actually around any H*R fanatics in person when this happens, usually, so my friends assume it's me being my normal weird self. :p

OK, so I am in the Gifted class at school, and so when I tell people that (and not in a snobby way, I just tell people that I am not doing so well in an all Gifted class), they say things like, "Oh really? You're smart? Prove it." I really don't know how to prove something like that, and usually I don't want to. So I'll just blurt out, "SCIENCE!!" and then the person I am talking to is all weirded out. Then, I leave.

Sometimes when I need to say "cool", I just add "healthy, one... eh?"! from rock opera.

Someother times, I just yell out some random quotes for no reason...

Whenever something ends, I yell out "IT'S OVER!!!"

This really annoys my sister.

Well, I occasionally use "Cool, cool," and "Yes sir...". My whole family is in on the jorb thing, as well. On occasion, when math comes up, I'll say, "Plus two. Hundred!" That's the only real 'moment', the others are casual use.

Recently as I was running to my friends house I started singing Homestar is running. Along. No one saw or heard me though.

I've found myself using "I'ma" in regular conversation. Also, I always quote the Cheat's crazy cartoon.

"I need to be kicked in the face."

"I can do it. I will do it nine times."

This thread is more specialized on the moment that caused a quote rather than the quote itself. Its asking you about situations where you quote Homestar.

I have never, ever, ever, ever, ever quoted Homestar Runner. And I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever quote- HEY! Where's that beat coming from?

Once. me and my friends accidentally fell in... Poison Ivy.
(it hurt a lot.)
We had all this ointment all over us, so what else to yell, but WE'RE OINTMENT!!!!
My friends were creeped out, though. They don't watch TGS for some reason.
