Hi,
This is my first post, and I created this account just to post this on here.
I've been watching H*R for since high school, bought many t-shirts, DVDs, and so on, and generally love the work. However, I feel that they (the Brothers Chaps) are losing and have lost a lot of regular viewers over the last year or so, definitely in part due to the hiatuses. I'm worried that because of the lack of viewership, that they might see that as their audience starting to lose interest, and start to lose interest themselves. If that happens, it is definitely a possibility that they cease to create new content for the site. That would be totally lame and disastrous.
So, I propose that when the Brothers Chaps create their first toon, sbemail, whatever after this hiatus, that we, their core audience, make it known to the rest of the internet. Digg, twitter, facebook share, reddit, blog, google buzz whatever. I feel that if enough people really get to see what they've been missing since they stopped watching H*R, be it a month ago, a year ago, or even if they haven't gone to the site for a few years, they'll really get interested again. This could really revitalize the brothers chaps' spirit and enthusiasm with the site, and get more regular updates (obviously the bros. chaps' enthusiasm is not the reason for the hiatus, but you get my point).
I believe digg is the most popular media sharing website (they get hundreds of thousands to millions of views a day), so I'll post a link here to making an account, if you're interested. It only takes about 200 diggs to get the the front page, where everyone will see it.
http://digg.com/register/(You can even sign in with your facebook account if you don't want to create a profile)
But don't let that be your only way to share the video (whenever they make new content)! Make it your status on facebook or MySpace (does MySpace have status? I've never used it)! Make YouTube video blogs telling people about it! Make regular blogs telling people about it! Twitter! Blogger! Buzz! Good old email!

as much as I do, I know you'll put in the extra five minutes after seeing the first toon when this hiatus is done to let others know about it. Old fans will want to see what they've missed. People who have never seen it will want to experience it. Just get the site more traffic!
Well, that was kind of a rant.
Thanks for listening.
