yep. so you know this one show called Adventure Time? the creator, Pen Ward, was apparently hanging out with Matt Chapman. he tweeted about it. he made a pretty accurate drawing of him and everything. and if we're to believe Pen, Matt now has an account of his own, named Ron Planet after that webcomic you might have heard about. I tweeted this at Matt: @ronginald I know it's not a very polite way to welcome you to Twitter, but someone's gotta say it: will we ever see more Homestar Runner? Matt replied almost immediately: @SushiPrincessss yes! for sure! And forever! just sporadically and without warning. #homestaraftershocks ...needless to say, I screamed with joy. very loudly. I'm not here to argue about whether or not that's actually Matt. just spreading the word so you guys can interpret it however you want. I, for one, am REALLY HAPPY RIGHT NOW. (and hoping Matt does a guest voice on an episode of Adventure Time.)

Hesitantly excited about this. Any sign from the Chaps Bros is good, though it seems odd to finally break silence by quietly making a twitter account with no mention of his actual name or homestar. Though, given the fact that they quit all updates out of nowhere, i suppose it isn't that strange for them. I really hope I'm being too cynical, and that this is the beginning of a new era of homestar. But I've said that twice before in the last couple years. And by the look of that hashtag, it sounds like the era of consistent updates is behind us.

Finally! All those months of lurking around the wiki have paid off! This could be a scam- think about it, anyone could draw out a sketch as rough as that- but the fact that his name is Ron Planet is definitely a good sign. If this guy's just a crazed fan, at least he's a knowledgeable crazed fan.

It seems like I've been burned too many times to dedicate any length of time to constantly checking the website. I'd prefer at least some notice... but I guess with their sick mother and... jobs.. they must have a lot to do. We'll see... I have a feeling its just gonna die off... I don't see them making any sort of comeback... as much as it pains me to say so. Oh well. Its been good while they made the effort... Sporadic updates hardly constitutes a functioning website. But that's just me.

While nowhere near as old as that other statement, this statement still relatively old, and like that other statement, the Chaps have probably gone back on it!! In other words, if a statement is months or years old, and it still hasn't come to pass, don't assume that it will.
