I'd enjoy making one, that kind of thing is in my intrest. But you'll have to wait a day before my computer becomes well, do you mind? Just how large do you want it? 100 by 100 is the average amount, is that good? |

Err... it's more like 100 pixels by 100 pixels is the maxium. http://forum.hrwiki.org wrote: ...its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 10 KB.

Really? Well, when she said she wanted it larger than the one she had, I thought of 100 by 100. I'm working on it now, and it seem a good size, including the border in the image. |

Yes, I love it! if you have any extra time on your hands maybe a little bigger will work better but its no problem this is fine to work with. (and just so you know, i wasnt going to use it for my avatar, i just need it for a...project, we can say for now. lol. its hard to explain) but thanks again! I really appreciate it! |

That's fine. How big do you want it, in inches? 1.5"? 2"? I can go up to 5"; that's how big I can get the toon to go on my screen. (For the record I got the picture from SB Email 97, When homestar is about to put pants on, but gets distracted by Thinkkaman!) |

It's a she, not a he. |

You forgot to "mumble" the second "his". |

Post subject: | Misunderstanding! |
No no no, you see, I'm not judging by how big it looks on my screen, I'm judging by how big Photoshop tells me the image size is. She said it was for a project, and if my assumption is correct about it being a visual project, then inches will matter on the pages layout. And I'll make the new Pic. Oh and about the shadow I gave it? I added that because Homestar's legs blended in with a white background, so I gave it a shadow to stop it from blending in. Should I leave it out this time, or kepp it, or do another type of border? |

Even so, inches are still irrelevant unless you also designate a resolution. 1.5" could mean 108 pixels at 72dpi, or it could mean 450 pixels at 300dpi. That's a huge difference. You're not understanding what he's saying. He's talking about printable size, which is going to be the same regardless of screen resolution. In Paint Shop Pro (the program I use) 72 dpi is standard, and that's the same for all the photo editing software out there, and that's what it'll print out as. If you were to create an image, give it a resolution of 450dpi and set it to 5 inches x 5 inches, it wouldn't come out as 5x5 on the paper, it would come out much larger. That's what he's asking about. Printable size, not relative size on a screen. |

No it's not, because it'll print at that size. |
