I'm just wondering what your parents think of the site, and if you have any funny stories.
Because I don't live at home, my parents probably have less exposure to Homestar than some of yours do, but a few months ago I showed "dragon" to my mom, and she was pretty confused. She called Strong Bad "Strange Bob" about a week later because she couldn't remember his name. Then the other day she asked me, "Do you still go to that website where everyone is yelling all the time?"
I thought that was pretty funny.

My parents don't know anything really about Homestar Runner. But my mom, who's a coffee fanatic, loved the back of my Homsar shirt.

Eh.....my parents just like, know that I go on Homestar Runner. They've heard my crappy Strong Bad imitation, and my mom will occasionally question something about the site with the Mexican guy >_> Yeah....

But my mom kinda forgets I go on there....even though I have the SB messenger bag -_-;

My parents like it, but they don't care about it as much as I do. My mom wishes there was no "holy crap" or "freakin' duck" words. Augh, lol. :p

My parents roll their eyes at the fact that my little brother and I are completely obsessed with the site. Mom saw a few toons and thought it was funny, but she didn't show much interest for more afterward. Dad complains about how every toon is always in front of the computer (he walks in on us starting/ending an sb_email). He just never comes in on it at the right time and doesn't want to stop and watch.

I remember when my sister introduced my mother and I to Homestar Runner at the same time with Kids' Book. I was laughing out loud, while my mother was a bit confused. And we must admit - Gregor is a weird name.

On the other hand, my father, when I showed him "dragon" was quite amused, particularly with "The S is for sucks".

My dad is now into H*R since I showed him the DVD. My mom is another case. She didn't laugh at my "Strong Bad Sings" CD when I played it in the car, while when I played it in my dad's car, he was cracking up. My mom does have a sense of humor, just not the H*R type.

They don't know I watch it. Though they are mystified whenever I see them for Thanksgiving or something, I'll be quoting it. ("Oh I'm a stupid turkey...")

Both my parents think it's pretty funny, and my dad has gone to the site a few times/will watch over my shoulder on occasion. My mom doesn't quite get it, but she loves my brother's Homsar quoting, so she got him the shirt. :homsar:

They do not, however, know about the other Flash cartoons I watch.

My parents seem to notice Homestar Runner more because of The Experimental Film Video on iTunes. Yeah, both my parents and I are big Apple fans.

My parents think it is very funny, but they don't visit the site that much and certainly don't have that weird Homestar-obsessing gene that seems to have been mutated into me.

My parents love Homestar Runner. They go on it as much as I do probably. My mom even has a Homestar shirt, and my dad has a Strongbad shirt.

My parents don't really care. My dad saw like half a toon, and he says that they try to make it funny by using weird voices, and what the hell are those characters? I mean, is SB a man or a creature or what? And what is Homestar? What kind of creature is he?

My mom just says it is too boring.

My Mom knows I go on to H*R, because she has bought me some stuff from the store. I've never shown her a toon though, but I'm sure she would love o see one.

My Dad has no sense of humor. End of story.

My parents don't even know what Homestar Runner is. They haven't ever seen it, and I know that they wouldn't like it anyway. At least, not the way I do.

At first my mom thought it was annoying. But when i introduced her to Marzipan and The Luau, she kinda warmed up to it. She thinks it's pretty funny.

I've shown my mom many times some of what I deem hillarious. She finds it somewhat amusing but not too much. My dad doesn't get it at all. He thinks it's just plain stupid and not funny.

I think H*R just speaks to those who are younger more often than the older group. Kind of like music. I mean, I remember the Commodore 64 and the blue loading screen back when I was a kid. Suddenly, they're poking fun at it on H*R, brings a little nostalgia to the table.

Same as with this great new Stinkoman game. Reminds me of so many of those games I played. Personally, I still enjoy the old games more than a lot of new games that come out now--even with all the technology.

I don't know what it is, I just think this site is so freak'n funny. Yet my parents don't. lol.

My parents know about the site. They bought my sister a Homestar shirt for Christmas. I got to keep the coaster that came with it.

The only cartoon they've seen was the email 'radio.' My dad is a radio "personality" and I thought he'd get a kick out of the whole wacky drive-time morning show bit. He liked it, but I wouldn't say he's a big fan.

That's another reason I enjoy the site so much, in fact. TBC are not much older than I am, and so basically grew up with the same fads and such that I did, and so it has a nostalgia touch. Strong Bad getting chased by "this freaking duck" especially amused me, since Adventure is one of my favorite Atari games. I also remember the old King's Quest games, thus why Peasant's Quest is that much better for me. The recent Stinko Man game feels just like a Super Nintendo game. And I don't know about you, but my SNES is like a classic car. It may not be the most modern, but it has a certain charm to it.

I don't live at home, so I don't think they'd know what it is. But my roommate saw my figurines and he was like, "It's the Bad Strong family!"

I'm just amazed - my mother told me she went to H*R on her own yesterday and looked at SBEmail #126 - Best Thing. As far as above-the-fold Emails go, I'd have picked Montage, but still, I was just amazed...

My mom has no idea what Homestar Runner is and she doesn't know I watch, but someday, I might show it to her.

1st post! HUZZAH! My parents know about Homestar Runner, it's apparently rotting my brain. Although, I made my dad get the Stinkoman shirt, my mum (Australian spelling) get the homestar "Star" shirt and my sister get the white homestar shirt (I stole my mums shirt)

I don't think my mum has ever seen it, but I have shown bits and pieces to my dad, like kid's book. He's laughed at some, but other parts have gone comletely over his head. I MUST show him 'best thing' when I get the chance. Normally whenever I'm watching it and he walks past he goes "Hey, its the Strongbad" in a really bad impression.
