Alright, this topic take a little bit of work on your part, but I hope as many people participate as possible, because my project is due this coming Thursday! Alright, so, here I will list all of the newer toons (I take newer to mean since they started using the new mic system- so from "Homestar Presents: Presents" on!) and you can rate them1-10 and give a (short) description of your decision, as in why you love, hate, or have no real opinion on that Toon. PLEASE as many people participate as possible. Once again, my grade may very well rest in your hands!

List-
Homestar Presents: Presents
part-time job
dreamail
Teen Girl Sqaud Issue 8
origins
Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer
secret recipes
rock opera
best thing
Strong Bad vs. Little Girl
long pants

Homestar Presents: Presents: 9/10. I like it because it really shows Homestar's true personality.

Part-time Job: 5/10. I like Homestar's line "Yeah, you do.", but it doesn't have much of an interesting plot.

Dreamail: 8/10. It's fun to see what Strong Bad would like to see in an email, like how he wishes that an email would be sent by "128 Hot Katies".

Teen Girl Squad, issue 8: 10/10. It has a lot of great lines, and it shows just how funny Teen Girl Squad can be.

Origins: 8/10. It's a solid email, with some good lines.

Peasant's Quest: The Movie trailor: 10/10. It's fun to see what Peasant's Quest would be like as a movie, instead of a game. The best part about it is TBC breaking out of cartoons and trying their hand at live action.

Secret Recepies: 9/10. It's a solid, funny email. Homestar's "Pinecome" sequence is funny, and it's good to see Strong Bad work with The Cheat, again.

Rock Opera: 9/10. It doesn't have much plot, but the song is absolutely awesome.

Best Thing: 8/10. It's a pretty good email, and it's a good spoof of spin-off cartoons, but I think it could of been better than it was.

Strong Bad Vs. Little Girl: 8/10. It was great to see puppet Strong Bad introduced, and interact with the little girl.

Long Pants: 7/10. It was fun to see Homestar freak out at the mention of pants, and I loved the easter egg at the end, but I thought that it was too short.

Boy, that was one long post.

rock opera:9.5/10 I loved this email!I even taped it it was so good. I watched it about 5 times on the day it came out!
best thing: 7/10 Not funny, except for: "MARY: How come they made me fat and have red hair?
LARRY: Because you're the comic relief-uh!" HAHAHA
Strong Bad vs. Little Girl:6/10 I just cant get used to the puppet stuff, its not funny.

rock opera 7 good song but no point

Homestar Presents: Presents 8/10
It was funny, but I was hoping for a little more for a Decemberween toon. The clock was super cool, though.

part-time job 6/10
I don't know, it just didn't make me laugh much. Although Strong Bad in a hot dog costume saved it.

dreamail 10/10
Funny, ridiculous, improbable - all-around great. Bonus points for "128 Hot Katies" and "Chester Elegante".

Teen Girl Squad Issue 8 10/10
I love TGS in all its incarnations. "My bass feels seaworthy" was classic, as was "Ow! My most of me!"

origins 7/10
I didn't think it was that funny, but the Bread Sing-Along was fantastic.

Peasant's Quest Trailer 10/10
Matt's facial expressions are enough to make me laugh any day. The unexpected live-action was great too. If I could give it a higher rating than 10, I would.

secret recipes 9/10
Very funny, especially the Poopaw egg. It showed a bit more of Strong Bad's childish side, too, what with the playing pranks on people.

rock opera 10/10
A brilliant idea that worked out brilliantly. It also made fun of shows that are running out of ideas and so do a clip show.

best thing 10/10
Hilarious. The old-cartoony style was great; it took me back to my childhood.

Strong Bad vs. Little Girl 9/10
I love the little girl. She is always super funny, and seeing kids interact with puppets is always good. The only bad thing was that it was so short.

long pants 8/10
It was funny, but it seemed short. Also, I felt that the email could have been answered in a funnier way, like Homestar shopping for pants but not buying anything because they all make his butt look big, or something.

Homestar Presents : Presents...8/10. It had some nice quotes "Decemberween is not about getting people presents, it's about getting people good presents!" And a reminder to all last minute shoppers.

Part-Time Job...8/10. Hotdog suit, dancing The Cheat, Bubs, great.

Dreamail.....7/10. It was ok. I liked it, but it been better. Homestar stating that he does hate those puffy clouds were the saving point.

Teen Girl Squad #8.....8/10. Tompkins was great in the egg. And the deaths were absolutely hilarious.

Origins....7/10. Ignored the question for the most part. Hd some good things, such as the cooking spray graffiti.

Peasants Quest Trailer...10/10. Funny through and through. It's great to see live action like that.

Secret Recipes....8/10. KOT eating 'Mountian Rush', the Chekt, Poopaw, excellent e-mail.

Rock Opera...9/10. Great song, The Dangeresque egg was fantastic.

Best Thing...8/10. I liked this. It brought back some great memories.

Strong Bad vs. Little Girl. She's so cute and funny. And it's nice to see the strong Bad puppet as well.

Long Pants....9/10. I loved this. Short, but sweet. The Marzipan egg was what topped it off.

Hope this helps.

Homestar Presents: Presents: This was a pretty cool Decemberween toon. Homestar was funny but it felt just a tad empty too me 7/10

part-time job : This was alright too. The hot dog costume and Strong Bad having the dream of being an email-checker or whatever it was funny. I loved Homestar calling everything an invention though. 7/10

dreamail : Meh, contrary to popular opinions I didn't find this one all that interesting. No real stand out moments to me. 4/10

Teen Girl Sqaud Issue 8 : Great! TGS's are quite funny. 8/10

origins : This is one of my very favorite emails. The On-Point Kings were hilarious, especially SB's "takin' no guff" remarks. I loved all the "fresh" comments made while they were spray-painting Marzipan too. 10/10

Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer : Very good. This thing came and hit me out of the blue. I didn't care for it at first but it grew on me to a 9/10

secret recipes : I always sort of pair this email to Origins for some reason. The scene where Homestar tries to get Strong Bad to eat "not a pimecone, diaper pie, i mean regular pie" and all the dialogue that comes after that is pure comic and geniusly written gold.

rock opera : Rock Opera was pretty cool, it wasn't all that funny, but I admire a site that can be hilarious and have me care about the characters and find things just plain cool.

best thing : Best thing was alright. Bozar calling them Limo-lozers very much appealed to me but aside from that I didn't think anything was particularly good in this email. I'm wavering bewtween 6 and 7 so I'll say 6.5/10. Round up if needed.

Strong Bad vs. Little Girl : I'm not quite into any of the puppet stuff on Homestar. This is probably my favorite puppet thing, but that isn't saying much. I feel I lose the genius they put into they're flash animations with these puppet things. 4/10

long pants: Long pants was pretty cool. I too will say that it seemed short and devoid of, um, something... I'll say 6.5/10 Round down if needed.

Homestar Presents: Presents
Plot wasn't that good, a few good jokes, gets a good prize for Homestar being the main but no where near as funny as other Christmas 'toons.
Best Line: :hr: OH CWAP! I ran into the door! 7.5(8)/10

part-time job
Okay, some good jokes, but nothing that made me laugh out loud like some other stuff I've seen. I liked the email being in a different place this time.
Best Line: :sb: Coming into work on time! 6/10

dreamail
Now this was a good email, nice length, some good jokes, I laughed out loud about 4 times. it's good to see Strong Bad's idea of a dream email.
Best Line: :sb: I'd have it bronzed and dipped in, um... guacamole. 8/10

TGS 8
The second best TGS ever. Cool to see So-and-so's Step Mum. And some great new original deaths! (I loved Twelve-sided-died!)
Best Line: What's her face: OW! my most of me! 8/10

origins
Good, gives you a good back story.I liked the whole randomness of this email. Randomness is always funny. I also liked the made up words. The interaction between Strong Bad and Marzipan was good.
Best Line: :sb: The on-point Kings may have never stolen the KoT's dunce cap and re-name it Lotionman. 8/10

Pesant's Quest Movie trailer
Fantastic! This is totally funny all the time. A great salute to Monty Python's Holy Grail. It's good to see people, and not just Matt, but others too. How cool would it be if it were really a movie?
Best Line: RD: Not tonight he doesn't... come... in the night... Trogdor. 9.5(10)/10

secret recipes
The cool thing about this email is it connects all the characters together. It also shows Homestar in an emotion other than stupidly happy.
Best Line: :sb: ... being from Africa you must be used to eating things like exotics fruits and nectars and, um... lions. 7/10

rock opera
Great! I liked all the references to other things. This email was one of the greatest, it's up there with dragon and virus. You can also notice the evolution of Strong Bad's voice.
Best Line: Yup, I totally always look awesome singing backwards metal. 9.5/10

best thing
This email was okay, but no where near the best, a good-ish story-line and some good gags. I liked the kind-of reference to Scooby-Doo episodes.
Best Line: :sb: May I politely ask you to gouge out your eyes, cut out your tongue and, um... have all your... done... removed. 6.5(7)/10

Strong Bad vs. Little girl
YAY! A Strong Bad puppet! Seriously though, this was good. The innocence of the little girl reacting with the totally opposite Strong Bad. Man, so cool.
Best Line: Little girl: Strong Bad is a good! 8.5(9)/10

long pants
This was a good, short one. It was long enough for the pants joke to keep going on. And seeing Home star scared? Great. It wasn't as complicated as the other ones, just simple and funny.
Best Line: :hr: I dunno, lightglobes. 8/10

Thanks for all your help- that should be more than enough to make a Stem and Leaf graph of the toons' average rating! :) You can keep this up if you want, I can always change the averages- and after Thursday, it might make a good forum game. Anyways, thanks a lot for your support with my project!

How many of these projects do you have to do? Is this all for one particular class?

Wow, that's pretty sweet. I wish I could have done something like that in my Stats class.

Homestar Presents: Presents
8/10 It was a pretty good, and the jokes were definitely quite solid. I actually left my browser on for a couple days to wait out the timer XD Yet, it was somehow rather lacking and too short for a holiday toon for me
part-time job
6.5/10 This email was mostly interesting to me because it was "different." SB checked his email in a different place, non-computer ending, you know. But despite all this, it kinda sorta sucked.
dreamail
6/10 Well.....I mostly didn't like this one bceause it really didn't seem "Strong Bad enough." I mean, compare this email to a supposedly "solid email" like autobiography. And it really wasn't a good one to put on lappy, seeing as it's just too new and it doesn't make sense. Ignoring this, it was still pretty funny. I was definitely saying "dipped in guacamole" for a bit of a while. Not funny enough though
Teen Girl Sqaud Issue 8
8/10 As far as TGS goes, I'm usually not one to laugh out loud. But this one was pretty dang funny. And the fact that I had gotten "floor tommed" out of the drums room by some eigth graders >_> Yeah....anyways, the whole"breadtangle of pizza" was interesting too. This one was cool.
origins
7/10 This was a pretty good email. Not the greatest, but making fun of all those people who ask "origins" of things was funny. It seemed a bit unorganized for a Strong Bad email, with way too much info being tossed at me at once and not enough consistentsy. However, the bread singalongs were pretty funny and this email also provided me with the phrase "Heck no at all!"
Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer
10/10 I was mega impressed and surprised when I first watched this. I had found nothing to be updated some Monday ago, and decided to check the wiki if there was anything. I watched that trailer so many times XD It was awesome for what it was.... I really want a feature length movie though >>;; Oh well...the trailer still rocks. X)
secret recipes
7.5/10 Another quality email right here. The whole premise of all of Strong Bad's "family recipes" was quite predictable and amusing. And the whole "uncouth" thing SB had at the beginning seriously cracked me up because of this thing in Beyblade. I even asked about being couth at some beyblade site to Tyson XDD So anyway, the poopaw thing was funny too. This wasn't the perfect email, but it made me crack up.
rock opera
9/10 Here we have one of those super special awesomeness kind of emails like Dragon or Flashback. The song was totally awesome and random. And the graphics of all that freakin random stuff made me crack up too. However, the fact that the song was so incredibly random, gives me a hard time memorizing it by ear (as I have so many others). However, that isn't the kind of thing that's going to make it horrible. Just a little less enjoyable.
best thing
5/10 This email, had potential the potential to be pretty funny. Even if they kept the whole thing with the Limozeen cartoon, it would might have still be okay. But, TBC really messed up on this one. Now, I know the whole concept of Homestarrunner is supposed to be funny and often times not make sense, but that whole pilot for Limozeen was just really pathetic. I mean, yeah, it would have probably be summing up a 30 minute thing in about 3 minutes, but it was completely discombobulated and unorganized. The Powerpuff Girls pilot only had Fuzzy Lumpkins. They don't have ALL of the villians. And the whole mistakish this with "An maybe on DVDDDDDDDDD" was a bit of a turn off too. Obviously, it was supposed to be from when Strong Bad was younger. So it was funny at times, but overall I didn't really like it.
Strong Bad vs. Little Girl
7/10 Ah, another of those Little Girl shorts. And with the Strong Bad puppet too. This one definitely cracked me up, but I think it could have been funnier if it was a bit longer. I'd like to see to puppet stuff like this again, maybe with Homestar too. Strong Bad interacting with just about anybody end up being hilarious. But there's only so much you can do with puppet stuff, so it's not exactly 8/10 material.
long pants
9/10 This. Is one of the THE funniest email EVER. I've gone up to a total of two people and started reciting Homestar's "monolouge" about long pants. Creeped them out quite nicely ^^ So yes, as many have said, this was very very funny, but just a but short. There's no way you could have really extended it or improved it, but it was simply too short. Still, this joke shall remain forever to be awesome. Can't wait to see what's gonna happen with the white stuff on SB's lappy too XD
