I think he doed it to push my buttons, and it's starting to work.

No-one at my school likes Hometsar... schoolkid one:"Hey you been on that site that <real name> talks about? Homerunner?" schoolkid two:"No, is it good?" schoolkid one: "It's crap!! It's like worse than the first mario game." schoolkid two:"You mean where your a black square and you move like a robot?" me: "Umm, what toons did you watch? they're pretty funny actually." schoolkid one: "Huh?? You watch toons on it??" One time i brought my strong badia key-ring in and attached it to my bag 'cause my bag is boring anyway. another kid: "What's that?" me: "Strong Badia sign from Homestarrunner.com" <insert long, annoying, conversation about what Hometsar is> kid: What? A bag compny? OMG you love a bag company?? me: "Noo!" *takes it off bag* *attaches to pencilcase* "Is it a pencilcase company now?!?!? Now it's on my pencil case!! kid: It's a car company!! It's got a stop sign on it! me: ARRRGGGLLBLBLBLBLBLBL! |

If they're just not into it, they don't have to hate it, they just don't have to watch it. But anyway, I've had friends who try to "push my buttons" too (like trying to make me, um, "get sick" at lunch). That's just what friends are for, right? |

I now realize that I've two friends who are creeped out by Homestar Runner. I don't know though, everyone at my school basically knows about it and most knew about it before me. Since no one really wathces it though, I can easily drop references without detection. (except the obvious ones.) |

Aw crap crappity crap crap crap. (Sorry if that offended you.) At our school, one of my firends brought their h*r figurines to school, and now h*r is like a fad. People are putting their badly drawn versions of their characters onto binders, and talking about it. I would be happy, but this is diffrent. These people probably haven't been on the site for more than ordering junk. They don't know what a sbmail is. People just have the merchandise because it's the new fad. The guy who thought SB was a neopet (see the first post of this topic)? He wants to marry Pom Pom, thinking that Pom Pom is a girl. Wannabe H*R Fan: Sally, isn't The Poopsmith sooo cute? He's adorable! Moi: ,,,,, (I acctually said commacommacomma.) Wannabe H*R fan: What? You are a weird person. Moi: Moi: No, the Poopsmith goes commacommacomma. Wannabeblahblah: The poopsmith says cute things you (a word)! I'd rather have everyone at my school hate it. |

And today I got tackled for a blatent Homestar reference >_< Y'see, Big Billy is always saying "Ooo, burn!" while I will tell him "Burninated" sounds so much cooler. Course, he doesn't listen. Now....so he's like, writhing around on the grass for specific reasons, and I'm all like "Ohh, Burninated!" And then he says "Okay, that's it" and jumps up and runs after me. I try to run away, but he grabbed me from behind and pushed me to the ground T___T He fell on me! He's over 200 lbs. >_< Ulgh.... |

Someone 'dressed up' a figurine of Pom Pom with paper, in a grass skirt and..a coconut bra... He said it was... Halloween.... There are some people who say The Cheat is a girl. No one ever recgonises my Homsar shirt. They all hate Coach Z, which is my favorite character. I am going to die. |

I once had a really cwappy Homestar costume for Halloween. It seemed like a little less than half my class had heard of him, but they arn't actually fans. Just like..."Oh ya I know Homestar." Probably watched 1 or 2 toons. There is one kid in my class who secretly hides liking Homestar...but he's actually a big fan. Its really funny cause like under his coat he'll wear a Trogdor shirt but never take his coat off. Dunno why that is. It seemed like none of the girls knew who Homestar was, but I got some of them into it. Who knows. There are varied opinions. |

well in my hoodz, you either know homestar or don't. those who do are the kind of behind the scenes characters who are really the cool ones...those who don't wouldn't understand it. Oh and there's also the ones who heard the friend watches it so they do and memorize some jokes and bring them up the next day. |

Well, I discoverd the glory that is homestarrunner.com about a year ago. Since then I have become a super fan, a homestar freak, super freak if I may. But, my friends just aren't into it like me. Oh sure, I got a couple people to visit the site and they kinda looked at it for a while. But then I guess the fad passed, and once again I am left to say things such as "shining up a chicken in the mornin', mornin'' to myself. Are any of your friends as blind as mine? I mean, what's not cool about a wrestle man answering emails and occasionally beating a big, white, round elephant feet kid? |

and while you're at it, do the same to everyone who says, "I hate Homestar Runner" or some variant of that. I wonder how anyone can think that something like that could be a pokemon. Didn't you just show that random kid the back of your shirt, which has the web address on it? The Homestar character I think is a pokemon is: Eh! Steve!
He says his own name. He HAS to be a pokemon. |

Yeah, most of my friends are all the times be asking me. "Why is there a guy from Mucha Lucha on that cartoon you watch?" And later on when I show them the character pages, they get really into H*R for two weeks and ask me again. "Why is there a guy from Mucha Lucha on that cartoon you watch?" And I always keep showing them the character pages and etcetera. It's sorta funny, cuz I always tell them. "Mucha Lucha? You were into this cartoon last week." |

Okay, okay. In my old school in Nova Scotia, which I just moved from, NO ONE had EVER heard of Homestarrunner.com. No one. Then, I introduced it to my best friend. She then was and still is really obsessed with it(not nearly as much as I am!) Then I showed it to my younger cousins, who were 8 and 10, and they love it. They didnt have a computer, so when ever they came over, they'd be watchin it with me |
