Nothin spectacular, but at my school, someone noticed that I was wearing a Strong Bad shirt. My sister once was drawing Strong Bad, and someone asked her why cause that person thought he was gay or something.

at school my friend hates it because the first thing he saw was Lookin' at a Thing in a Bag, because I told him that was where the "check it out, check it out, check it out" thing was from, and I was doing it.

My friend doesn't like it, but it's probably because he doesn't understand it and he has a really weird sense of humor.

I had a friend in high school who was the biggest tech geek imaginable, yet when he saw me watching the Strong Bad Emails, he was like "What are you watching?!" As big a tech geek as he was, I figured he would've known about Strong Bad, but apparently not. I guess he's a wes' side surfa while I be representin' da eas' side... or something to that effect.

Most people I know who have heard of H*R love it though... one exception being my ex-girlfriend. (Hey, that's just one of the smaller reasons why she's my ex-girlfriend.)

"What? You've never heard of H*R? Looks like you're riding the 7:30 Alone train to ALONEVILLE. Making stops at Ex-Girlfriend Junction and West BREAKIN' UP WITH YOU! Oh, and you can keep the collector's plates!"

I can only imagine that you said something like that to her. :p

Well, I wore my The Cheat T-shirt on my first day of school and two people asked me, "What is that thing on your shirt?". I responded with, "It's The Cheat from" {turns around} "Homestarrunner.com". I also showed it to my language arts teacher last year who made me redo a worksheet because she couldn't understand that The Cheat was his full name and therefore was a complete proper noun.

Wow, holy crap. I can never meet people like that. The only fans I've seen at my school are people I don't even know, and will talk about it while playing hacky-sack.

i walk around campus in my homestar shirt, and nobody has a clue. i need to do some recruitment on this campus i think. one of the first things out of my mouth, within a few minutes of meeting a new person is always, "so, you ever been to homestarrunner.com?" and the really sad thing is, i haven't met a "yes" response yet. (though i got an anonymous comment about my shirt being awesome on the way to the dining hall) but i have a plan...
late in the evening before/morning of april 1st, i'm gonna take a bunch of address labels that i will have printed off with the website on them, and stick them all over campus. i'm thinking on doors and stuff, maybe a couple bathroom stalls. curiousity is always the best way to introduce something as awesome and interactively full of secret junk as the h*r site!

then of course, i'm still working on my boyfriend... soon as that sb_email dvd set gets here, we're gonna be watching that together instead of the stargate series.

sigh! i wish i knew so many people who liked, or for that matter had actually HEARD if, H*R. But now i think about it i like being part of the minority. If it turned out so most people liked it, i dont think it would be as fun. I really love seeing some small reference on the net or something, and i feel like me and that person are part of some kinda society that only we know! and i think it should stay that way. By the way, all the people i know who know about it, got it from me!
H*R is the AWEXOMENEST!

There's this bloody immature kid in my class who despises H*R.com. The reason, invariably, is that "Strong Bad is gay." I, of course, point out the fact that he's always trying to get the ladies, but... he just flips me off and turns back to talk to his snooty friends.

Yeah, pretty much all my friends either like Homestar, or just don't watch it 'cause they're not "internet people." I've never gotten any insults when wearing my Trogdor sweatshirt, but I have gotten several "Nice sweatshirt"s. One of them was from a 30 year-old guy, and most of the rest were from people my age, or Hot Topic employees.

My friends think everything is "gay" if it has not appeared on MTV. "Why do they label everything! That's so stupid!" is what they said when I showed them Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon.

Well, that particular toon was an extreme case of labeling. I could have done without a lot of it. It was still hilarious though.

I have a kid exactly like that...with the same type of snooty friends...Those are the people I despise the most.

I have a group of friends that have heard of it. We quote it sometimes.

I've met a couple random people around school wearing my Marzipan shirt and somebody saw me attempting to draw a scene from Cool Tapes in Photoshop in my Communications Technology class and asked me if I went to "that website." I was in the library working on my history of Homestar project for my English class last year and some girl decided she had to inform me that "that website" was stupid. I know a few kids who hate Homestar with a passion, but everybody else around here falls into one of two categories: they haven't heard of it or they refer to it as "that website."

the only person Ive ever met that knew what H*R was unless I showed them was my Grade 9 teacher. She was always quoting stuff and Id would laugh so hard and all my classmates would be looking at me like "Does he have the typhoid or something?"

Most of my friends know about it and like it. My mum thinks its weird but thinks the Cheat is cute. A girl in Camden told me my Trogdor hoodie was awesome and a girl at my college told me my TGS shirt was ''f-ing awesome'

I learned about the website over a Christmas break. My friend showed it to me. After the break I saw an other friend, and at the same time we said, "I got to tell you about Homestarrunner.com!" Now we go around quoting it and people think were crazy. (?)

Yeh, I was really suprised at how many poeple at this college DON'T know about it. Especially since I thought when I first came here that everybody knew it. Most of my friends if they know it at all, have only seen 1 or 2 toons or emails. So now I'm all the time saying H*R quotes, and they think I"M funny. I say "Yeah man, I'll knaw your face off," all the time now.

The last time my friend Troy came over I showed him the Sbemail 'trevor the vampire'. He absolutely loved it, but refuses to admit it now. He thinks it's stupid and that I'm crazy for wasting my time watching them.

Another friend of mine has seen about thirty of the toons, wether it be a Sbemail, TGS, etc. He loves it, but calls it "gay", like he does everything I like, even if he likes it.
