It's true that there are many people at my school that think H*R is for "gay" people. And people with no life. But let's crack open the ol' phycological textbook shall we?

It states most people are bullies beacuse that is the only thing they are good at in life. They must put others down so that they feel better. They can only destroy and not build.

How is this related? Observe these people that hink H*R is "gay" or "stupid." What kind of humor do they enjoy? It's probably the one-dimensional kind that incorperates racial slurs and other questionable subject matter. Let's say that most of the humor that hese H*R haters is the stuff reserved for the midnight, the kids are in bed, kind of shows.

But if you look at H*R. It is almost all humor in it's purest form. It's....just funny. I always remember that just by never belittling myself by relying on bad humor to be funny, I just made myself better then all of those other people.

LONG LIVE HOMESATR RUNNER!

Nobody at my school really knows what homestarrunner is so it is funny when i wear my :sb: sweatshirt. THey are always like, wth is that, is that a mucha lucha crap or something?
and a few people know it and are like "thats awesome! sb rules"
one kid went up to me and was like "where did you get that?" and i said "Off of their website, duh."

When i was in mammoth camping on vacation, this guy was walking by and said "Strong Bad thinks you have a stupid and smelly butt!" cuz i was wearing my :sb: hoodie. lol funny stuff.

I just don't talk about it at all, except with the two of my friends who also like H*R. I've noticed that the other people who like it (at my school) are weird, so I avoid bringing it up. :homsar:

There are some people at my school who like it, I can think of about 5, not including me, but most have no idea what it is. Though, even people who don't know what it is have started saying "Stop saying words." Good stuff. I haven't met anyone who hates it yet, but they'll probably start appearing soon, unless I'm lucky.

At school, everyone loves homestarrunner.com. Even with as serious as I am, you can't help but have humor from somewhere. Usually, my humor is darker and a lot more morbid, but I love the pure absurdity of the TBC's brainchild.

Also I got a friend of mine from Kosovo (an exchange student) into Homestar Runner.

Some people are jerks. I wear a Homestasr shirt and they go, "Whats that?" I say, "Read the back of the shirt." Then they say, "That sounds stupid."
ugh.

I'm a high school English teacher, and I have a Homestar poster in my classroom. Many of my students think that it's just about the coolest thing in the world to have a teacher who's into Homestar. I just think it's funny!

You know, a lot of the people on this forum would probably KILL to have a teacher like you.

My teacher for the past three years and my hopmeroom teacher this year like Homestar. Both are just casual fans, though.

I live a lonely HR school life.
None of my friends know about it, and when I quote Homsar. They just give me looks. And shake their heads
But one time I told my friend Alex Hardcastle in German class to go on Homestarunner.com And he went on Stinkoman 20X6. And he loved it.
The problem was; he never continued to watch the toons like I asked him to.

Every one in my School hates it. But me. Duh! Well, my friend scottie likes it, but his parents don't let him on the Internet.

So he can only watch it @ my house. Where his parents can't see him.

;-)

my younger sister finds strongbads voice incredibly annoying, but a lot of people in Uni seem to like it, one day our lecturer played the strogbad email 'website' (it was a web development module) and everyone loved it (it also happened to be my first encounter with H*r)

My friend says that im too addicted to homestar. He also saw every episode of south park, Shouts cuss quotes at lunch, and barely has even seen homestar. Hipocrite alert. Does anybody else have a Hipocrite alert?

It happens a lot with people. They're called fanboys.

I'm not sure if I replied to this before, but my sister, her fiancee, my parents and my friend all think I'm weird because I like HomeStar Runner. They say they don't get it, and my sister asked me last night if anyone understood my Trogdor T-Shirt. -_-

I swear, she used to be cool.

The best way to respond to people who don't know what H*R is, is to act like they're clueless morons - which they are. The key is to be absolutely confident in your own coolty and the fact that H*R is The Best Thing Ever - again, you'll be right. Case in point:

Ranrom HS dope: Duh! Why do you have a Mucha Lucha bag?
You: Huh? What's Mucha Lucha? (Make sure to lie, even if you know what Mucha Lucha is)
RHSD: You know, that cartoon about wretlers.
You: Um, no. I have no idea. This (holding up your bag) is Strong Bad.
RHSD (derisively): Duh, what's Stong Buh? It looks stupid.
You: Um, from Homestar Runner? What, you've never heard of it? Okay, whatever. (You turn away and ignore this person forever. If they ever try to make fun of you again, you can come back with "Yeah, sure. You don't even know what a Strong Bad is.")

Conversely, you wait until you're out of high school and have the chance to meet other smart people who like cool things (or even Cool Tapes), because as any adult will tell you, high school is nothing but incredibly stupid children.

I'm the same way, but switch sister with brothers, and her with he. That's me.

i got a different problem. this kid at my school called Conor is so unpopular. he can uncool anything. mostly my stuff and as a result, i get teased for introducing it! so i have to hide H*R from him. my friend max is like the only one to know of it. he told me about it. it sorta sucks having only him to talk about it. i can't tell anyone else because if they were to watch it at school, conor will surely find out. so long popularity.

THIS JUST IN! i was a-watchin' a strong bad email and some punk comes and says, "he sits at his computer all day. he's a nerd." so i say to him, "one, if he was a nerd, would just about everyone in the country want him to read their email? two. he reads emails. a nerd plays games like adventure quest, and then goes and brags about his hit points or whatever to his 'friends'. he is not a nerd" i said number two because i saw him before. he logged out of adventure quest and went over to two others who might be his friends and say "ohh, it was awesome! i beat a fangazard(or whatever it was) and i got 2000 experience points!" who is the real nerd?

p.s
sorry if anyone here likes adventure quest. he was a total nerd.

Everyone, including 1/4 of the freshmen at the Art Institute of Seattle know Homestar-tachi. Hell, Trogdor is plastered all over the school in drawings, desk carvings, & grafitti. If someone said "Who's Strong Bad?" they'd hear "What planet have YOU been on?" & no-one's daring enough to say they don't like it.

No one that I know of watches H*R. Except for this one guy who clearly only cares about my Trogdor backpack x__X But my friend likes it now that I showed her some :)

I work at a store in Orlando, and I see all kinds of peoples, of all ages, sexes and sizes wander in with Homestar-Shirts. Even saw this gal with Trogdor stickers plastered on the back of her car. Woot.
