I know the Brothers Chap use Flash but I was wondering if anyone knew if they used a graphics tablet and and the pen or pen tool to create their characters, backgrounds, props etc or whether they use the shape tools and use the mouse to position them to the shape they wanted. I'm asking this since the animation outlines are very clean and not at all like those produced using a graphics tablet in Flash. I don't suppose they use a Graphire tablet, probably an Intuos one.

Any help?
Thanks!

No, they just make their characters on the computer. They look so good because TBC have made flash movies for years.

TBC are just good artists, that's all.

From what I can tell, TBC outline their characters with the line tool, fill it in, and then delete the lines. All the colors, shading, and most lines in HSR are made in the same way. At least, that makes the most sense. If they don't do that... then I'm stumped.

Why don't you email them about it? They're usually pretty quick to respond.

They took about two weeks to respond to my email about HR vs. Little Girl Part 1.

Maybe they were working on a toon or something. They're busy guys.

I imagine they just use the smoothed pencil tool, convert to fills then tweak the images a bit. And then convert each little bit of character to a symbol and have a few seperate mouths and stuff for lipsyncing.

That's not too bad. At least they actually take the time to read their emails.

I e-mailed them a few things, and they never responded, and it was like over a month ago.

Well, I think the reason they answered mine was because I didn't even know about Little Girl Part 1. I mean, I wouldn't want fans missing out on a skit I made just because they're too dumb to find the Easter Egg either. :-S
