To all of you who are intent on wrecking the Wiki once it ends, don't you think that the entire thing would be deleted, or at least put into lockdown? I really can't see Joey leaving it open to spammers after he announces its cancellation. My two cents. |

I can't imagine coming here one day and getting a big ol' 404'd with no warning. |

Yeah, but he wouldn't simply allow you to run rampant around the Wiki. That'd be just stupid. I noticed someone remarked that "destroying stuff was fun" earlier in this thread... exactly how much satisfaction would you get from altering the pages on a dying wiki? That's just weird, man. One day, Homestarrunner.com will go away. But I predict it will come back, especialy if they sell their rights or hire new guys to do it for them. Unfortunatly for us whom the site was made for (the first generation) that means a trade-in for different aproaches to commedy (maybe) and new voices. If it goes, I buy! I'll do all I can to get it, founding a company that day known as The Brothers Chaps inc. A dream, yes, but if and when the site dies, somone should continue it's legacy. As for the wiki and forum: We die only when Homestar dies! Acording to my dreams, that's never. We still got a few more generations left in us! |

If the Wiki ended, we could always just try to remake it on a free wiki host with a free forum. I know, of COURSE it wouldn't be the same, but no loss is permanent when we're talking Internet. |

Well, I come here when the Game Informer Forums are dead (I'm a mod there, I was the 214th member to join, and have almost 8000 posts). So, if all Homestar Wiki things died, I guess I would have to spend the off time there. Of course, I dunno how long those are going to last. Nothing is safe!

Look, ever since my friend dragged me into this home we call an internet, I CAN'T LEAVE. So... I would..... umm... maybe.... I DON'T KNOW!!! We need to make some kind of new forum if it dies, and... YOU ALL NEED TO JOIN.
And we should link it to some hosting site that SOMEONE generous will pay for, and it will be allllllllllllllllll about H*R I'm sure as heck not making the site though. |
