Well, you see, Homestar Runner is going to end someday, we all know. After that, is there any point for JoeyDay to keep funding the bandwidth for the sight? Since it is over, there may not be much of a point. But, I don't think that will happen.

The only other thing that could happen: The price of bandwidth is going up, like IJ said, and, he said so far it costs $50 to fund the forums and Hrwiki for the site, but, since it is increasing, according to IJ the price will double and triple with the bandwidth, and, Joeyday is not made of money y'know! :p That's why we need to donate money, so, we can help him pay for it, not just him paying a whole big bill for us.

Um... so yeah.

I prefer not to focus on the end. I think we should all focus on what's going on now rather than fret over what might or might not happen. That's not to say that we should ignore future threats to our beloved Wiki, but we shouldn't obsess over when the whole shebang might go kaputski.
