Also, the Homestar Runner Forum looks a lot like this forum. What happened to originality?

It was started by our very own porplemontage. Hey, imitation is the best form of flattery!
So does that mean that weird Al is flattered by my looking like him?

As for the lookalike forum, when i get mine up, I want to model it after this one. I mean, this one is so much better than others I have visited.

TOTPD?

So if I made a copy of the Venus de Milo, and painted it purple, it wouldn't be a problem? Even if I sold it? Seriously, if the wiki and the forum and the fanstuff all fall, I might actually start some of my life projects. Which is why I will donate. Like a million dollars.

So true, because noone wants to start their life projects. I mean, aren't they just kinda....meh? The wiki, my life project since 1987.

Wow. You mean you sat in front of your computer, desperately typing in "hrwiki.org" for 17 years? What a project.

Yeah considering the internet didn't exist back then, that's quite a feat.

That's not entirely correct. The Internet existed, but the World Wide Web didn't.

Well there is another thing. Ramrod would have been 1 when he started searching for the H*R Wiki.

Woah.

Whenever this forum dies, we'll be split up and go our seperate ways. Like, to different forums and crap.

We'll never speak to each other again!

I'm already missing everybody. :)

Wow. You're right. I have one of my old forum buddies from a now-gone forum in my email address list. I have no idea what happened to him.

That is why God created AIM and other type messengers. I talk to a whole bunch of you guys on it when I'm not on here.

I doubt this. I love the forum, but I believe that if we ever had to choose between closing the Wiki and closing the Forum, we'd kill the Forum. The Wiki is just too valuable.

well how do you know?
some people might only visit the wiki just to get to the forum.

Pretty much anyone can make a forum like this. The wiki is unique.

Post subject:  KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!

I definitely appreciate the Forum better than the Wiki, because I still find it too hard to understand how to use the Wiki. Even so, I'd kill off the Forum for the sake of the Wiki anydangday.

I think we wouldn't be too bad if we had to kill off this forum. Probably a lot of people would migrate over to Porple's forum, like during the Great Meltdown. At least, I hope so. He needs more people over there.

What three? The Wiki, the Forum, and porple's forum? Nah, one of those dying couldn't kill all the rest.

I think he means this forum, the wiki, and the Fanstuff wiki. But that's just a guess.

I used to be really into Neopets, until I learned of the HR Wiki. Having privately named myself part of the highest circle of the Forum Games -points to low post count- there's nothing else worthwhile on the 'Net anymore. I'd probably waste my days away playing City of Heroes and Petz. I read the entire Wiki already, and I only stop by to read a new article when the official HR site is updated. I mainly use the Wiki for the forum, and if there was no more I would find another HR forum.

That is so...so...so darn insperational. I'm crying on the inside. :homsar:

Well, if the Wiki ever closed down...I'd probably actually go outside  or somthing. I'd probably go into the journalism buisness. If you think about it, being on a newspaper staff is sort of like being a member of a real life wiki.
But I'd miss all of you guys, and that forever skinny white faced charecter who is burned into our hearts forever. Michael Jac--I MEAN

Forever young, red shirt'd, propeller cap wearing person, who has brought forth tears and laughter, both from the heart. That man, is Homestar Runner.

OUTSIDE???

DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S OUTSIDE???

THERE'S A SUN-TYPE THING!

AND NON-HUMAN LIFE!

Don't risk it, man! Outside is foreign ground!

I'm sorry if that was a little creepy. Just demonstrating what might happen to a lot of us if this Wiki was shut down.
