Hello Homestar Runner fans! I bring good news that you may or may not already be painfully aware of, but I write this for those of you that are not up on the times. Timely-types can stop typing. Excuse me if this is considered off-topic.

Matt Chapman has been recently increasing his involvement with Gravity Falls, a cartoon on the Disney Channel that follows two twin siblings staying with their weird uncle in the mysterious Gravity Falls, OR. He has been the voice of several characters, and he wrote the most recent episode "Boyz Crazy," about the boy band "Sev'ral Timez." Seriously, I just realized that's very likely a Homestar Runner nod.

If you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend the show. If you're looking to hear Matt specifically, look for the episode "The Deep End" where he plays the troubled Mermando. I personally watch the show on Amazon Instant Video.

I've been meaning to catch up on that show... I have fallen behind the times since cutting cable. I LOVE what I have seen already- so witty and original!- and with some Homestar thrown in, it could be even better.

Can you explain how "Sev'ral Timez" is a Homestar nod?

I know Homestar toons often do weird-yet-consistent things with spelling and punctuation, but I don't remember any specifics. Something about never capitalizing the letter i? I don't know.

It's the use of the word "Timez".
