SO... the website is still up... although I've noted that many products are out of stock on the store, for obvious reasons.

Then the thought came to me... what if TBC decide to pull the plug?

NOT LIKELY, but I wish there was a way I could get a copy of all of the material.
As in, all the actual FLASH cartoons, in a zip or torrent file...

Anyone know where I can get that? I don't really have the time to go to each page on the site, and download each page individually... plus having the cartoons as video files would be inefficient, especially since the original flash animation files are really small.

If someone wants to, they can e-mail me about it... efleck999 at ya hoo

If you want to save a single toon, go to its page on hrwiki.org

For example, maybe you want a copy of http://www.hrwiki.org/wiki/comic

Next, scroll down and look for this: Image

Right click the link that says "View the Flash file" and choose Save As (or Save Target As). Your goal is to save an SWF file.

That's it! Now unfortunately this is not a very practical way to save the entire site, but you can save your favorite toons this way and if you are very industrious you can try to collect everything.

Oh, I know how to do all that, and have a few saved.

What I'm talking about is... ALL CONTENT. Is there anyone out there still reading this who has it all already downloaded? It would be awesome if I could just run some program that would do all of that automatically, but most software designed to do that get stuck with this one quirk of HSR... it's a flash website, where all the links are in the flash videos. Maybe TBC did that on purpose.

As for me, I just don't have the time to go through it all.

LUCKILY, there will probably always be clips on youtube... but for how long?

I used to save the flash files onto disc back when I had Windows 98, before I found this site & before they released the first DVD. Thankfully the DVDs have the eastereggs & old archive stuff.
