Homestar Runner Wiki Forum

I thought it might be fun to have a vaguely-Homestar-related discussion thread that produced all those warm, productive feelings. It can be as bragadocious or as silly as you like. I just want to have a halfway active thread to ward off all those spam bots.

Since December 22, 2010, I have:

Graduated college.
Taken- and left- seven jobs, the longest being 4 months and the shortest a week. (One of which was a part-part-part-part-very-part-time job, but thankfully there was no sad hot dog clown).
Had my first manly-type friend (I'm a woman).
Attended a wedding with a bounce house and the Chick-Fil-A cow.
Watched every last episode of As Told By Ginger.
Cuddled an orphan in Haiti.
Shooed away an orphan from power tools in Haiti.
Found out I could teach.
Figured out how to change a diaper (on both babies and seniors).
Played "The Adventures of Doctor Hoot" with a five-year-old.
Got married. (Still trying to figure out how this one works).

I just want to say this is a good thread idea. Unfortunately, there are many things that I wish I'd done/almost did... or for that matter, "should have succeeded" (because circumstances were relatively close) during the time but didn't manage. And those that did, I'm sorry to say that I don't care to share. Oh, okay just one. I found out that I'm very talented at flying kites.

It's not that hard to get enough cyber stalking sense to be able to find some people on this forum, in person if you so wanted; I know I could based on what I've seen. I since wisened up and have erased a lot, but I was foolish enough even at 19 or so to neglect that. Some people wouldn't really care, but I would.</public service announcement>

That being said, it seems like you've been through quite a bit. Going to Haiti, wow.

My life has changed a lot since the forum was locked (which was the end of H*R for me anyway).

- graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems
- moved out of my parents' house to London, Ontario
- got married to a wonderful lady in 2011
- got a good job in my field that I will likely be at until I retire
- bought a house
- got two cats
- for those who remember my various forumfictions that I wrote (EXTERMINATION, Forumpocalypse) or animated (Cartoon'd) I still do that stuff - I'm doing illustrations for a children's book my dad is writing, and I'm writing a novel in my spare time. Also I do MSPAdventures over at the MSPA forum once in a while.

I always like revisiting old memories here, even if it is a ghost town... hopefully some of the other oldies will post what they're up to now!

Graduated high school.
Started college.
Got my driver's license, went through driver's ed.
Several jobs etc.
Witnessed the transit of Venus.
Went from having only a crap 2003 christmas special computer to having a personal laptop, a $1400 personal computer and a Nexus 4, all payed for with my own money.
And finally, lost my interest in Homestar Runner.
That's what has happened since the last H*R update.
