Control The Cheat and guide him through many different opponents ( :bubs: :coachz: :pom: :trogdor: :ehsteve:) as he attempts to find Strong Bad. The game is still unfinished, but these levels are complete, and I hope to find time to complete it this summer. I actually made it during the summer of 2003 using Game Maker.

Sorry, I forgot about that, Duct Tape Patrol. I edited the first post. You will have to go to my home page and scroll down towards the bottom where there is a link to download the game. It's the first link to click under "Stuff Done by Me."

Nice game, but the Sweet Cupppin' Cakes boss is impossible without getting hit by Sherlock at the end.

The gameplay is pretty good, but the graphics look thrown together and some of the bosses are too hard. Other than that, it's a fine game. My little brother actually beat it.

The bubs level is too hard!!

I agree that your visual style just looks thrown together. It looks like you don't care. Amd its all jerky. Y'know, like it was done by a two-years-old boy.

Other than the graphics, this game is pretty good. I may actually beat it one day, too.

I FINALLY beat Casio SB. Teen Girl Squad is almost impossible for me.

The graphics look somewhat terrible but the gameplay is great.

Haha, I'm glad you all seem to like the gameplay. The graphics aren't meant to be professional, I tried to make them semi-realistic in comparison to the real 'toons. I never really thought of them as bad or anything, just somewhat unorthodox (and yeah, some of them were just pretty much thrown together). Anyway, I didn't have much time to spend on the graphics since I have hundreds of images used to make the game. Like the game or not, I'm glad you are all giving feedback!

I beat the bubs level!!!!!!!!!!

Now I'm stuck at the sweet cupn' cakes level!!!!!!

Well, I'm glad to hear that you got past the Bubs level. The SCC level takes some perseverence, as you never know when that worm will randomly pop up underneath you. It may be hard to believe, but that Sweet Cuppin' Cakes level used to be even more difficult (Eh! Steve and The Wheelchair moved faster).

I seriously doubt this game could get any harder. The difficulty level is pretty much insane. Using much harder to use software, I was able to make sprites that stopped when you stopped and moved when you moved. Its a good concept and I like the SAVE feature. It has many flaws, but a coumple of redeeming factors.

The Strong Sad level is tough. :p "Y", oh "Y" isn't there anything good on it??

Seriously though, I stuck on Casio Strong Bad. Whenever I beat him - WHAM! - stupid Sherlock.

Wait a minute. I've seen this game before. Did you put the level one demo up on homestarrunner.net before the forum closed down? I remember that level, with Pom Pom shooting, and level 2 with the cheat having the power to throw chinese food or something. I can't remember exactly. Is this the same game as before?

Author:  JoeJoe [ Thu Jun 16, 2005 4:25 pm ]
Post subject:

Yes, it is the same game, but a lot more is done than just those two levels, there are points, music, and other levels now. I think I still have that 2-level demo on my computer somewhere.

As far as Casio Strong Bad, I'm not sure what advice to give you. You probably should try to hit Casio with the 3 Chinese Foods on the right side of the screen if you can, because Sherlock comes from the left side of the level. Other than that, I don't know what to tell ya.

Again everybody, thanks for all the feedback!

i'm having trouble downloading it. Can you save it as something else other than a .zip file? i don't know if that's possible, but if it is, go for it. Or can you put so you can play in within the internet browser.

Duct Tape Patrol,
I uploaded the game as an .exe file on my home page now. You can use that link if you want. Again everyone, thanks for all the feedback!

P.S. Tonight will be the last time I post for a few days. Off to basketball camp for me tomorrow.

Man, I'm just stuck now. I can't beat Trogdor, even if I hit him with all six containers of Chinese food. How the heck do you kill him?

Incidentally, it's tough to get all six, as in order to do so, you must obtain the right-hand box first and then the left-hand second, otherwise you get three from the left one and only one from the right one. You might want to fix that glitch.

You Do know there is an F1 key, right? ;)
I managed to beat this game and now I want more. I await the day you finish the game.

How does the F1 key help me? I said I was throwing the buckets, it's not like I was picking them up and saying, "Huh? How do I throw these things?"

You said you couldn't kill trogdor even if you hit him with all of your ammo. I he's burninating (when he has fire outside of his mouth) he can't be hurt. Hit him four times when there is no fire out of his mouth to kill him. The help screen from f1 told me that.
