What inside jokes/references are you getting tired of? I personally think that TBC should cut down on the use of "Witches Brew" or "Brue" or w/e. It was funny at first, but the overuse is killing it.

Aww, I like witch's brew. It's become tradition.

But I do know what you mean about overkill with inside jokes. TBC should try to make every cartoon stand on its own, so a new viewer won't get confused. They should especially try to avoid alluding to SBEmails that haven't quite, um "ripened" yet. Something should be a classic before they make an inside joke about it.

Witch's brew was only in like four things.... in fact most of their inside jokes aren't used that often.

Tru dat.
I don't have a problem with any of the inside jokes TBC use. Besides, when a newbie sees an inside joke and it confuses them, that only encourages them to view more of H*R, it dosn't crush their curiousity.

Anything the tbc do doesn't annoy me. They could make a toon where Pom Pom just stands there and bubbles and I'd LOVE IT. He's like my least favorite character too. Anyway, what annoys me is other people over using inside jokes. There's about 10 people in my entire school who have heard of homestar. Only three of us found it for ourselves and the rest we've converted. I just hate when those converted people go over quoting homestar BADLY and wearing homsar shirts.

I'm not really tired of any inside jokes. There are a few I want to see COME BACK, but none I'm tired of.

Personally, I want "How do you type with boxing gloves on?" and "DELETED!" to both make trumphant returns sometime soon...

>inside jokes you are tired of

SYNTAX ERROR! "inside jokes" and "tired of" cannot be used in the same sentence without a "not" operator. Please add a "not" operator and try again.

Although it wasn't used in many cartoons, I never found Witches' Brew very funny. Mostly because Homestar/Strong Bad said it every 30 seconds in Pumpkin Carve-nival. Also, the "'D" suffix that's overused on this forum gets on my nerves.

It's become a regular thing.
It's so annoying.

I'm not really sick of any running gag. That's why they're called running gags. They're supposed to come back over and over.

The 'd suffix is annoying, but only when people use it wrong.
For example:
banned'd
shot'd
edit'd

It's supposed to be used to make a verb out of a NONverb, not just randomly attached to make something a Homestar reference.

'd should NEVER be used for something that already ends in D, even if it is a noun.

I can't think of any running gags that bother me, but there are a lot of things I'm glad never became running gags or at least haven't yet. The dead Strong Sads everywhere in "fingers" and the Thnikkaman would have been ever more annoying done more than once or twice. . .

I love inside jokes. It makes it worth watching all the stuff... To see the line of thought, and all the back references. Makes it worth watching them all, and it's something that you have over newer watchers.

I like inside jokes. TBC seem to know when to use them without over using them. You know what I mean!

Actually I know a newbie who doesn't really like the site because It doesnt make sense. But that could be because there are too many characters.

They haven't used it in a while though. It should be answered someday soon.

I doubt they ever will anwser it. And if they do, what would they say?
Strong Bad might have wrote:
So, uh you see, Jimmy Jimmy, I use, um, magic frogs. ...In my gloves...or...stuff...

They could allways use the cheapest trick ever have some extremely loud noise (truck, chain saw, etc.) playing as Strong Bad explains it. My theory is that he can make little bumps come out of his gloves and those press the keys.

CorrectmeifI'mwrong but are you ASKING FOR ME TO GET A QUOTE FROM THE WIKI?!?!?!

From the video games commentary:
MIKE: Yeah. Sometimes it just clicks when you read it and some, you just think of a good idea and sometimes you think of bad ideas, like maybe we'll get a really good idea for how to answer the "How do you type with boxing gloves?" email.

And from the How Do You Type With Boxing Gloves On? page:
"The Brothers Chaps say that they might come up with a way to answer this question someday."

I don't really want them to answer it. It's kind of obvious. How does he type with boxing gloves on? Just like everyone else.
