New Intro?

I think it's hi time they composed a new peoples button, they simply owe it to society but whatever. I just rewatched they first time here button and they should really update it, I mean the vocies aren't the same. Also they should put new links up instead of those three ,they should be the stinkoman game, bug-in-the-mouth daise and a NEW strong bad e-mail link. Finally it dosen't show what the charectors are really like.

It doesn't matter to me. I like the current one. I like how they change it on holidays sometimes.

I agree. Though I really enjoy the first time here video, I think they need to redo the voices and ending links.

You seem to be talking about the "First time here" thing. This is the intro.

I don't think they need a new intro and I think the only thing they should change on the "first time here" toon is the three links at the end.

I think the 'First time here?' thing is perfectly fine the way it is as an intro to the site. There's no real need to make a new one unless H*R goes through drastic changes IMO, but if TBC ever want to do it, I don't really care either.

I agree. They're too classic for them to change it. You can't be a Homestar Runner fan without knowing the line "Homestarrunner.net It's dot com!".

Yeah, when I voted, I thoguht it was about the intro to the site, not the first time here toon. They should change the intro, but really all they need to do for the first time here toon is change the links at the end. Some of my favorite quotes are from the first time here toon, so I wouldn't want them to change it.

I was just thinking about this today while browsing the site. I wouldn't mind seeing a new intro and a new "First Time Here" toon. Not saying that the current ones are bad, but the characters and site have changed significantly over the years that it wouldn't hurt to put up something that reflected that to new viewers.

I think the site deserves a new "First Time Here?" toon, and I also think it deserves new character videos as well. The characters have really changed since the character videos, especially Coach Z and to a lesser extent, Strong Sad.

However, I think the First Time Here toon and old character videos should still be preserved for posterity. [s]And maybe a little prosperity.[/s]

But, yeah... "Welcome to homestarrunner.net: It's dot com!" is too classic a line to be relegated to the museum.

Agreed. In any rewrite, THAT line should stay. That line is how I advertise the site half the time to people who've never heard of it.

have a new first time here is dumb. the old toons are good. start at the begining. as for the intro id watch it like once and never look at it again. who cares.
