I'm always quoting that. I think Darkfruity means that no one who does not have the wiki in their head remembers. I've actually only seen "casual" fans quote Teen Girl Squad. Not that there's anything wrong with that.


Obscure quote -- away!

For me, I don't really... well, ah, no. Except for Strong Bad hitting Homestar with the frying pan in Bug in Mouth Disease. Nobody really talks about that one.

Obscure details that made me laugh include "Dripping Yellow Madness who moved away after 5th grade" (not really, but still something to chuckleworth at) and "Dirtiest Diapey". Whoah, coffee, eggs, bacon! Another one is the pause between Cheat Commandos and O's. L-O-L material? Yeah. And "LOOK! I'M TRYING! OKAY?" from the Stinkomanual.

EDIT: And Homestar badly singing along at the "THE END" screen in SB-Email "lady...ing".

"Goatface Killa," makes me laugh too... and Strong Bad's Homestar impression in "Where's The Cheat?"

Based on my avatar, you would probably think that the "death hole" in Cool Tapes would be one of those "always makes you laugh" moments for me. And you'd be right. But someone already mentioned the death hole earlier in this topic.

So, I'll say that I particularly like when Bubs tells Homsar "Don'tchu talk to me!" in Where's The Cheat?
That, and when Strong Bad says "your... payment" when giving The Cheat some "legal tender" pencil shavings.

Yup, those would have to be high on my list of those special details. However, my #1 favourite is still that scene with Homestar and the Swiss Cake Rolls in invisibility. "Oww... Those things are bad for you!". I know many people enjoy that one, including Mike Chapman (on the DVD Commentary)

Haha, I loved that too. No one else even takes notice of him as he scuttles off-screen.

I also love The Homestar Runner's "Yessir. Yessir, I am." from 20X6 vs 1936. Cracks me up far more than it should.

I know what you mean. It seems like one of those regualr quotes when you read it. But when you hear it, it is so much funnier. It's also one of those quotes that I find myself saying sometimes.

Exactly. When read, it looks like a normal, polite statement of confirmation. But once you hear his tone? Oh yes, it's suddenly sass, the bane of all 1936 olda folk, the essence of corrupt youth, the... eh, whatever. I quote it whenever I can, even if it confuses my fellow females when I call them "sir."

Yeah, I always use that quote. It's kinda weird the way he says it, that's why it rules.

Yes, I agree totally. I used to love all the old stereotypical action cartoons (Thundercats, He-Man, Spider-Man, TMNT...) so Cheat Commandos was especially funny. I love the Operation Blow Up the Ocean sign as well.

On the DVD when Mike is trying to fix Homestar's propeller, and he informs Mike that it's called a "buzzer".
Old man rub.
The "I Really Gotta Pee" song.
"Hey stupid, I brought you this stuff."
The fact that Teeg Dougland is, essentially, the Duggler from Undergrads.
Oh, and "The good times are over!"

Just a bunch of stupid stuff that isn't really that funny, but makes me laugh like an idiot.

Mostly things not in toons, like the legal page and the faq. Oh and the DVD commentaries. Just those little things they say crack me up, but then again, I tend to like TBC just being them and not their characters.

The dvd commentaries are funny. I especially like in the Virus one when Homestar says "Yeah, if you flicked the on and off switch alot you get a little floating Pitfall Harry through the trees!"

And in Car "Are you talking about my buzzer, Mike?"

Ha ha, I love it when Homestar says "Hey, stupid, I brought you this stuff!" If I said that to my girlfriend (back when I had a girlfriend) then she'd never let me hear the last of it. Gotta love Homestar's disregard for tact.

I like the thing with Coach Z. and 'sprot.' That was funny.

Also, 'Compa' in Mile always makes me laugh.

Regarding tiny details that make me laugh: the things written on Cheerleader's shirt are oftentimes funny. I also can't help but find it funny on the TGS main page when The Ugly One says "Teacher just called me young man."

Strong Sad telling Coach Z "I rarely know what you're talkin' about" (Pumpkin Carve-nival).

Coach Z calling a toilet a "terlet" (A Folky Tale + Halloween Fairstival) since I know some people in real life who call them that.
