This thread is to discuss ideas for what we should with the new hr.net domain. I think it should just serve as a redirect to the forum since that's what the site was originally for. I'm the rest of you can think up something more creative, though.

well, what has been happening? have we made a descision? how is everything going on this subject matter?

well i dont know about it being on hsr.net but i really think (somewhere, perhaps the wiki) should have a chronological order of all the things on hsr! I know when i started watching them i didnt understand the inside jokes, running gags and stuff and it would have really helped to know which toons and/or games went between which sbemails and everything else! i think this would be highly useful!

maybe since this site is growing in popularity, you guy(or gals) can advertise, not with pop ups but banners, It would fetch some good money for the bandwidth and such.

Legally, we can't. The only way to raise money is by donations.

Don't know how Stu sees that but it would come under Fair Use in the copyright section. Although I don't think Joey really wants to put advertising on the site.

Quite simply, selling things wouldn't be "non-commercial use."

We play the fair use card a lot, and we generally walk along a very, very fine line. Selling things, especially advertising space, would definitely move us way over that line.

I agree, except there is one kind of ad that is good: Google ads. As you know, they have ads that relate to nthe website that they're on. No ads is better, but if it helps, I don't think many people would mind with google ads.

Tom, your selling your vistors and clicks, your not selling the h*r brand. That how things like video game review websites are allowed to sell advertisements.

What he';s saying is we couldn't sell any products. We could sell ad space, but nobody lieks ads, and he doesn't want to make visotors annoyed.

What was wrong with those links? The first was inactive and the second was password protected.

Ah well, I got to see them, so them being removed doesn't bother me.
