I know that there is a consensus (sp?) regarding Homestar's lack of pants...but I just noticed something in the 2005 Halloween toon. When Homestar becomes Suave (French) Homestar, his face become's flesh toned, but his legs remain white. Does this point to a possibility of >gasp< pants? Just a thought. |

Or maybe he acquired a slight tan from driving down the hilly roadways of France's wine country. |

Well, considering the possibilities of Marzimans potion, don't you think it is possible that it could make his face one tone while making his legs another? |

That's a good observation.. Homestar does say he has long pants, he wears long pants, and that he's a long pants man (Long pants, long pants), so maybe he wasn't lying after all. |

DG, I figured you would have the answer for this. You are the Forum's expert on pants.

Similar discussions like this have arised from people who have seen trailers for "Elf", but not the movie itself. |

He SAYS that he wears pants... but in fact, like StrongBad's mask IS his face... his shoes ARE his feet and he has no pants... or his pants ARE his legs... something like that. It's kind of like arguing why things don't add up between Star Wars prequels and the original trilogy, like why the prequels seem to have more advanced technology... You can argue all day long, but the real answer is because the prequels were made in 1999-2005 while the original trilogy 1977-1983... lol. The real reason Homestar/StrongBad, etc. look like they do is that's how TBC originally drew them. lol. |

Hadn't thought about it. It just wasn't something that I paid attention to. I still think that he has no pants and blue soles glued to the bottoms of his feet. |
